I agree. I think the times may have come where Vince is thinking that he has too many "hardcore" (ex ECW) in the locker room being underused - well, they cant show that amount of violence on a typical family wrestling show - and I wonder if this will make a comeback as a independent organisation with the financial backing of the WWE. I hope so, because its so much better. Maybe just a PPV though? But I agree the WWE is indeed very poor... cringeworthy almost! Bravo had the last UFC pay per view about 2 weeks ago which was very good also!

Hi guys, Did anyone watch this last night? It was on SS1 at 1am. Its basically an old wrestling organisation called ECW that has no holds barred, no DQ's, just loads of tables (but not like you see in WWE), high risk manoeveres and a great deal of blood (last fight was a bit gruesome!). It went out of business some time ago, though they decided to get together for one more night. I know it sounds sad (Im 28 ffs!!), but really, it was absolutely brilliant! This isnt anything like the WWE stuff on Sky.... Defintely the best wrestling event Ive ever watched. In fact, its the first time Ive watched every bit of a program that late until 4am without falling asleep! Forget your WWE "storylines", this was just ace - no namby pamby bullshit! There is no way you can choreograph some of the moves those guys were doing. If your interested its on again at 9pm tonight. Believe me, its NOTHING like the WWE - you wont be disappointed if you watch it!

Anyone see this last night? What a fight that was. Hatton just came at him from the off, must say that I thought Kostya Tszyu would have him before 8 rounds, but honest to god what a performance that was! It was like something out of Rocky!! Some nice words between them at the end! Well done Ricky Hatton!

Sorry Jake- a wee bit late! A belated Happy Birthday mate

Actually, when you right click on one of the pictures and click "properties" in the "My Documents" folder, what is the info that is given? Does it identify the file type correctly?
-
What, in a time machine (noi!)? Seriously though. Disable norton and system restore to the first time you had problems as so succinctly suggested - if you have a restore point of course. One final thing - when you connect your camera to your PC, pop into My Computer and have a look for the "removable drive". If this is there then you can simply copy and paste the piccys across without having to install the Sony software.
-
Hmm, have you still got the piccys on the camera? - if so thats great as it means you have a backup. If not then I may have some software (I think its called "dont panic" or something) whose function is to recover lost pictures! Ive also got a app called "File Scavenger" which will do the same thing, but for any file.
-
Yeah, it sounds like youve got a load of shortcuts to the pictures, instead of the actual pictures. Its possible that youve connected a camera thats come up as a "removable drive" in My Computer, then instead of copying the pictures over to the "My Documents" folder, youve created shortcuts by mistake instead. i.e. Youve gone to "copy", and instead of clicking "paste", youve clicked "paste shortcut" which is right beneath said option on the right click menu.

Hi all, do you have a Bittorrent application? If so then click this link here. I think its the top link you click (the one which is 2.6d old or the repack which is 1.5d old) then just click on download torrent and open it (if youve got a bittorrent app installed).

Thats not a good thing to watch at all. I really feel for the poor lad who lost his car and had to watch it go up in flames like that. I actually felt sick for him. The mad thing is that when it started it looked inconspicous, and I certainly didnt think it would turn into the carnage that it did.

The nearside, left most lane. Dont put me into the middle lane moron category sunshine I could understand it if I was in the middle lane, but HE was in the middle lane and I was in the left most lane. Which is why I couldnt understand why he did it....
-
Had one yesterday I can add to that: 11. After other car overtaking you (whilst you are in the "slow" lane) them pulling a left as sharp as possible in front of you - for no apparent reason. Why do people do that?

God I hate that twatting advert. The scary thing is guys, that Jamster have made over £14 million quid! See here. Some very stupid people out there. Check this out (NSFW but amusing ) And sign this: http://www.petitiononline.com/jamster/

Hi Vanessa, try this - top one is the standard reset, bottom one is the "hard" reset: (1) Physically unplug your box from the mains supply. (2) Take Sky Viewing Card out of digibox. (3) Wait AT LEAST 1 - 2 minutes. (4) Plug the box back into the mains. (5) Wait a further 1 minute. (6)Turn the box on with the remote - until the box shows a green light, not a red one. (7) Wait until prompted to insert viewing card - once it is up, then do so. This usually sorts problems out with the Sky boxes we have in work (we have a Sky farm!) but that if that doesnt work, then try this instead. (1) Physically unplug your box from the mains supply. (2) Take Sky Viewing Card out of digibox. (3) Wait AT LEAST 1 - 2 minutes. (4) Press the BACKUP button on your digibox. KEEP IT PRESSED IN! (5) Plug the box back into the mains. (6) KEEP HOLD OF THE BACKUP BUTTON until all the light illuminate on the digibox. This is "forcing" a software download. You can let go once all the lights are up! On your screen (if scart) you should see a message telling you not to touch anything. (7) Dont touch the lights until theyve all gone out, and only the standby button is on. (8) Turn box on (9) Wait until prompted to insert viewing card - once it is up, then do so. This is a "hard reset" and usually sorts most problems out - but beware if you have a Sky+ box this will WIPE your hard drive of saved programmes. It will also clear your personal planner so you will need to set up reminders etc again. If that doesnt work, then phone Sky and explain exactly the steps above that you have taken. You will likely need an engineer out, with a replacement box (if under warranty). If not, you need a friend with a Sky box who can come round and test this their box at 9pm on your sattelite connection. If it fucks up on their box as well its likely to be a problem between the box and the dish components (cable, LNB etc etc etc). IF the loss at 9pm DOESNT happen on your friends box then it should stand to reason that there is a problem with digibox (though that is by no means certain!!!). Id also recommend that you post up on digitalspy forums as there are a few well informed people that frequent there, and even people that work within the industry who will be able to assist. Good luck!

Gah, sorry Jake. Bit of an overreaction. And no offence taken at all mate I can see your point actually; it does seem a long way around the world to send them, though I guessed as I was already getting a handle and fitments, then I didnt think it would ne an issue to throw a few of them in too - obviosuly Nic could make a few quid on them, Im not desperate for them and can (and have) done without (which is why I havent got any in the first place The ones Ive got arent totally knackered (hence the lack of urgency!!) so timesclae isnt/wasnt a problem! They were avaiable and not going to be used so I thought Id ask all the same. Er, anyway I guess that'll just be the handle and associated fitments then please Nic
-
Well, I thought that if I was getting one thing off him already if he can (handle and fitments which are small) then I may as well ask for other stuff too that isnt too big to send, but what he could make a few quid on (if thats okay of course Nic? ) Besides, wont they only go to scrap anyway if they arent taken? I could understand where you were coming from Jake if Id only asked for those fitments alone and nothing else, but I didnt???? Anyway, Ive removed the post now seeing as it bothers you that much
-
HI Nic, Any chance of getting the handle and all fitments from the passenger side A-pillar please? When mine came over it had already snapped and been superglued back on, so I could really do with all the associated bits (i.e. the handle, the part that the handle attaches/slides onto and associated screws) if possible. I can get pics if that helps you identify the exact part?

Also make sure that in EvoX dash settings are: Setup Network YES Use Static YES I think by default it uses DHCP so the "Use Static" option is NO by default. Make sure the gateway IP is the IP address of the NIC that the crossover cable is connected to. e.g. 192.168.1.100 PC NIC Address 192.168.1.104 xbox IP address (Configured in evox settings) Make sure theyre on the same subnet too:- 255.255.255.0 Gateway IP address in evox therefore would be 192.168.1.100. Once done try and FlashFXP to 192.168.1.104. If this doesnt work, then it may be you have a corrupted dash. My Evox did the same as well. To test this you need to boot into Xbox Media Center or another dash with FTP, configure the network addresses in it, remember to save, and try to FTP in. Im using UnleashX as my dashboard at the moment, though there are loads of impressive ones about now! Let us know how you get on!

56 days!!! Geez... Chris, they are wonderful pictures. Very, very cute indeed! Cant wait to show my fiancee when I get home! Thanks for posting them up.

I used Zymols Japon wax and thought it was nothing short of amazing. Ill try and find pics when I get home (stuck in work ATM!), but it almost looks as if my paint is still wet - almost "liquid" like. Its £42 for a tub of the wax alone and the starter kit (which has a bit of everything including the excellent HD Cleanse) is about £99 I think. Its the most Ive ever paid for wax, though I was suitably impressed with the finish. Ive also been impressed by Megiuars Gold Class Wax (about £15/bottle) and even their Gold Class Shampoo is good, as is Meguiars "Next Gen" wax. Neilsens also gets the thumbs up! EDIT: Acutally, Zed has covered everything I wanted to say, far more concisely And the Japon Wax I use is what DaveN posted up http://www.zdouk.com/detail.aspx?ID=30

Ive never heard of them before today to be honest. If you are looking to import Ive heard good things about Jurgen who is on this forum, and also other importers on here. Paul Whiffin (http://www.whifbitz.co.uk) has a few, and Im unsure if Dude / Paul E may have some for sale? There are one or two other importers on here who Im sure will be along soon, as will any happy customers of other importers! I used Japanese Direct Imports who I thought did a sterling job for me from sourcing to importing.

Indeed. I spent a lot of time looking for a Supra before I took the plunge. I was well aware of the differences between the two, though I felt that getting a JSpec would be a better idea due to the fact I was having difficulty sourcing any low mileage (under 65k miles) UK-spec supras. Plus the fact I was unable to get any Supra's post 1996 and I really wanted a newer model than that. Importing meant I was able to bring over a newer Supra, with lower mileage and generally in cracking condition. I didnt feel confident of getting the same UK spec car here (low mileage I mean!!) not least as most UK-spec owners dont seem to want to get rid - that should tell its own story! I knew of the smaller injectors, leather seats and the rest as standard on UK spec, though I felt that if and when I wanted larger injectors I could upgrade when I saw fit. I didnt feel I needed them as I was happy with what I had already in the J-sepc. Same with leather seats. Besides, I guess Id only really need to upgrade (from Jpsec standard) to larger injectors should I want to go for a single turbo or go BPU - which Im not that bothered about - yet . Its swings and roundabouts really and in my opinion they are both great cars. Id have loved an UK spec for the lower insurance and some of the creature comforts it has, but Im equally happy with the J-spec which doesnt have these, and I doubt in real terms whether Id have noticed the differences between the two cars if they hadnt have been highlighted here!

I knew a doorman who was a big fella, big flash car and in with all the "boys". He was showing his mate an air rifle out the back of his car one Friday evening round the side of the pub (which is very quiet) probably saying "yeah, get onto me with this!!", and somehow, someone saw him flashing it around. They must have phoned the police as the armed response unit turned up guns pointed at him, screaming at him to get on the floor. The doorman was practically in tears - the police really took no prisoners here - though I guess I wouldve been too!! Dont get a firearm out whatever you do!!! If youre going to get someone "big" to sort it, then make sure either they do a bloody good job of scaring them. The only thing I worry about, is that in a few months time they make seek revenge and damage your property.
