  1. hi im after either the top half of a gte inlet manifold or whole thing fuel rail etc but not necessary if not there cheers
  2. So i went down to Balance Motorsport today and met Julian nice bloke we weighed the car and with no adjustments its not too bad at all total weight was 1397kg 1/3 tank of fuel. For a still mostly stock car only weight reduction is the seats exhausts set up and air con remova.l Brakes are bigger suspension is similar wheels are light but big so probably similar to stock also
  3. hi where are you and do you know how worn it is ? thanks
  4. daz 07711498222 im going there next week hopefully
  5. lol ! well your safe then. I have a vibration with revs still so its either engine mounts or clutch/flywheel out of balance but i think its most likely the mounts. cars getting corner weighted at balance motorsport in 2 weeks ish when he is free and going to dyno it same sort of time out of curiosity.
  6. i have seen some shit but this is up there
  7. I finally had a quiet week and managed to get a few bits done on the Supra. Starting with the timing belt tensioners and crankshaft pulley. Who ever did this prior to me was very special The crankshaft pulley bolt was hand tight ! and one of the hydraulic tensioner bolts was not all the way in just so happened to be the one you need to remove the alternator to get at properly. [sHOCK][/sHOCK] To add to that someone had used some 6" bolts in a locking tool once upon a time and took two chunks out the timing belt guide washer. A quick trip to Toyota and i got it all reassembled. Then for the snazzy part fitting my Recaros that have been sitting in my garage over a year [GRIN][/GRIN] i made some rails to house the original buckles and bolt onto the Recaro sliders which bolt onto the base of most Recaro seats. I really like the red on the black i even gave the old girl a quick wash was fairly dirty being off road for 7 months Next week she will get a M.O.T and hopefully book in for a dyno run to check the afrs geo and corner weighting out of curiosity
  8. no need to lock the cams done mine on Wednesday easiest cam belt i have ever done the tool to lock the crank pulley can be made with some 5mm x100 mm flat plate
  9. It will be a oil gallery clean everything take it out use a little ptfe asauming it seals on the threads and it should be fine
  10. Hi all does anyone know if the 2jz gte and ge Tps sensors are the same ? last piece i need to get my car back on the road now. i have no resistance reading on the top 2 pins so can not calibrate it car also seems to run almost the same with it plugged in and not plugged in only place that seems to list them for the 2jzge is australia and ill try toyota tomorrow but i reckon it may cost more than the car lol thanks
  11. they are wheels of sex and desire
  12. my garage is in orpington S.A.S Autoworks my supra spends 99% of its life on my ramp feel free to bring a wheel up and check just let me know in advance as am fairly busy.easiest way saves the guess work
  13. Thank you this has done the trick
  14. Cheers yea i am now aware after this happened done a lot of searching i only have them on the rear for now as had to make new metal lines to put them on and do not fancy doing the front till the motor is out. pictures now sorted !
  15. can anyone please shed some light on how to post images so they do not appear as thumbnails like so i can resize them to anything but it seems to make no difference. thank you
  16. Small update been fairly busy with work have not had much time for the supra. Never the less A new Toyota key and unbroken alarm fob have been sorted. The HEL brake line that just peeled away while not having been used yet was replaced they sent me another no questions asked. i made a tool that i ended up not needing to remove the alternator pulley [GRIN][/GRIN]. and put the front number plate back on. slowly but surely she is going back together steve
  17. Ah makes sense its always in the evening lol small world
  18. purple with big titan sun strip just off welling high street seen it a few times
  19. always see a silver supra on that road im normally in my bmw
  20. i will post some updated pics at the end of the week getting close to being back on the road again
  21. It was totally stock apart from advan sienna wheels wich were buckled to hell due to being run with atretched tyres. Has a engine vibration either crank pulley or flywheel both are getting changed. Bit by bit
  22. Yup seems it has not changed lol ive had it since last year feb i think. Rear end rebuild is next on my list after i get it back on the road after these few mods.
  23. Ripped fear i would love to see some of them may explain the worn out lsd
  24. nice looking car you have there my number plate ends with HAA aswell
  25. cheers for the input guys i bought the dw arms as i needed a set the next day and they were also a bargain. I drove up there from london and had them back and on in the same day.I was honestly impressed with the fitment and quality of them for the price even the welding was good. Steel tube is stronger than a cast ally wishbone all day provided its made well. as for rose joints i know they do not last long but at £13 a pop i will suffer it and this is only a weekend/track car minus winter minus when im busy so it may do 3-5k a year and spends most its life on the ramp. quick run down the manifold is 1.5" primaries 33-35cm into 2" secondaries around 65cm off memory 2.5" pinch point then cones out into 3" system. Will be getting dynoed to check afrs as soon as its back on the road so see how it does. apart from that and intake car is stock is there any particular pixel limit i need to use to get pics up properly i already resized them to make them all under 2mb just to upload thanks
