  1. hi im after either the top half of a gte inlet manifold or whole thing fuel rail etc but not necessary if not there cheers
  2. So i went down to Balance Motorsport today and met Julian nice bloke we weighed the car and with no adjustments its not too bad at all total weight was 1397kg 1/3 tank of fuel. For a still mostly stock car only weight reduction is the seats exhausts set up and air con remova.l Brakes are bigger suspension is similar wheels are light but big so probably similar to stock also
  3. hi where are you and do you know how worn it is ? thanks
  4. daz 07711498222 im going there next week hopefully
  5. lol ! well your safe then. I have a vibration with revs still so its either engine mounts or clutch/flywheel out of balance but i think its most likely the mounts. cars getting corner weighted at balance motorsport in 2 weeks ish when he is free and going to dyno it same sort of time out of curiosity.
  6. i have seen some shit but this is up there
  7. I finally had a quiet week and managed to get a few bits done on the Supra. Starting with the timing belt tensioners and crankshaft pulley. Who ever did this prior to me was very special The crankshaft pulley bolt was hand tight ! and one of the hydraulic tensioner bolts was not all the way in just so happened to be the one you need to remove the alternator to get at properly. [sHOCK][/sHOCK] To add to that someone had used some 6" bolts in a locking tool once upon a time and took two chunks out the timing belt guide washer. A quick trip to Toyota and i got it all reassembled. Then for the snazzy part fitting my Recaros that have been sitting in my garage over a year [GRIN][/GRIN] i made some rails to house the original buckles and bolt onto the Recaro sliders which bolt onto the base of most Recaro seats. I really like the red on the black i even gave the old girl a quick wash was fairly dirty being off road for 7 months Next week she will get a M.O.T and hopefully book in for a dyno run to check the afrs geo and corner weighting out of curiosity
  8. no need to lock the cams done mine on Wednesday easiest cam belt i have ever done the tool to lock the crank pulley can be made with some 5mm x100 mm flat plate
  9. It will be a oil gallery clean everything take it out use a little ptfe asauming it seals on the threads and it should be fine
  10. Hi all does anyone know if the 2jz gte and ge Tps sensors are the same ? last piece i need to get my car back on the road now. i have no resistance reading on the top 2 pins so can not calibrate it car also seems to run almost the same with it plugged in and not plugged in only place that seems to list them for the 2jzge is australia and ill try toyota tomorrow but i reckon it may cost more than the car lol thanks
