  1. @Chingy thanks, I'll go take a look!
  2. Thanks @keron. I'll take a look. It was the verdict of the AA after I took it a drive and then switched car off, it wouldn't start up again. They came out and had a multimeter on car and had me rev. Said it was maybe half the brushes inside had become ineffective.
  3. Hi all, Looking for somewhere/someone who can make the bonnet foam for engine bay, after the car being tucked up in a shed during COVID, the mice have nibbled some of it! Thanks Kurk
  4. Hi all, Relatively new to the forum and looking for advice/to purchase a new alternator for said Supra. Mine is only charging the battery when revving over 2k rpm. OEM Number = 2706046120 When put into Autodoc, it showed 12v x 100A alternators. Just saying this incase anyone knows different! Any good brands to go for? Thanks Kurk
  5. This event was great last year! Hoping to make it again this year. Wonder if the new location will make it busier yet?
  6. Hi there. Anyone got some recommendations for the stock 16" wheels? It's got 225/40/16 at minute but not sure if that is stock and if there is better ideas? Thanks. Staggered on rear etc? The car only gets used 2/3/4 times a year going to shows and would ideally rather a softer compound tyre.
  7. Hi all, quite fancy an N/A manual that I can use! Currently my TT Auto is garaged and in an air-conditioned bubble to keep it's condition up. Rarely comes out but when it does I love it. So quite fancy a Supra that I don't mind so much to use out and about. All n/a's considered as just gone through a house move and won't be able to afford another TT for a while unless it needs a lot of work doing and going cheap. But I suppose everything considered - projects etc/non-runners/MOT fails. Only looking for one as a winter project and to use soon hopefully. Thanks. Based on Isle of Skye Scotland.
  8. Looking for recommendations on some good tyres, preferably good in the WET as we have plenty of rain here in Scotland. Also can anyone elaborate on how they feel the comfort of the ride is with the stock wheels. I am currently using 18" Veilside alloys with 35 walls, surely it will be less firm with the 16" wheels on?! Thanks.
  9. Looks amazing, great value for money by the looks of it, someone will get themselves a bargain.
  10. https://www.instagram.com/supra3704/?hl=en try that link, hopefully takes you to a photo of the car.
  11. Hi Dnk, is there somehow an easy way to send you a photo of the car? I did always think the rear arches were a lot closer then the front. The car is certainly on stock bilsteins. Never looked at the springs though, and they don't look that old either to be honest so maybe they have been changed. Also I thought that all J-spec supras had 16" wheels, wether GE or GTE. And it was the UK Spec that had the 17" wheels from stock. Also do I need to have wider rear tyres? As 225/50/16 seems a nice size all round.
  12. Very tempted David, car is practically stock anyway, just the alloys and a satnav. Anyone got reccomendations for 16" tyres? And should I stagger tyre size? (225front/245rear)?
  13. Hi all, I currently have 18" Veilside Andrew Cooper Racing V wheels on my TT Supra, along with stock suspension setup, the ride is just too firm for my liking and I am wondering what the best thing I could do is to help soften it, I am not bothered what it costs as the car in my eyes is worth it, so wether it is coilovers, or dropping wheels sizes etc I don't mind. Just looking for advice if anyone has suffered the same. I am 235/40/18 on front, 265/35/18 on rear. I have a set of stock wheels with 225/40/16 tyres all round, but I imagine I could get some 50mm walls for them and they would still fit. Also I noticed on a recent drive out my rear wheels are rubbing on the arches but I am not wanting to disturb bodywork by rolling/flaring arches. Thanks. Kurk.
  14. Should I have recieved some sort of welcome package in the post? As I signed up a few months ago after buying my Supra and still havent received anything.
