    Thanks drift bear for the links to the calculator. Thanks to everyone else for their imput. Its not an act that i really want to repeat, just that ots the fastest car ive driven/owned by these figures. She got there in relatively short stretch of road too. Cars bpu with a mines ecu so i think its got the 7200 limit? Personally top speed doesnt do a lot for me its the acceleration, just that day i kept accelerating!

    Good afternoon folks, Whats the theoretical top speed of a mk4 tt auto with a02 diff? On a recent spirited drive with a friends r33 gtr on private land of course... i saw an indicated 165/170mph. I thought this was my speedo over reading but he was flat out in 5th! I passed him and kept going. Thoughts on top speed of a mk4 auto??

    Anybody using the m factory lsd? Its on ebay at the mo around £900, i know they are used by the civic type r boys and are well received. I want a os giken but this is £500 cheaper. Is it £500 worse?

    Ive been looking for an lsd replacement for my a02a, seems os giken is the answer. Just gotta save for one now.

    Received the badges from whifbitz today, fast delivery too. So yeah they are oem badges, so i will need to remove the pins on the toyota badge. I will fit them this weekend using the dimensions given, thanks again

    Sorry, i should have specified im in north wales, whifbitz is near cardiff. So a 3hour drive for that.

    Can anyone recomend a good rolling road to set up my boost controller? I would just run it up the road but repeated 120mph 3rd gear runs tend to attract attention.

    Yeah, reading it back that makes no sense. I bought the car with a smoothed *tailgate* However to my eyes i think it needs something to break it up. Also would like to do something other than carbon fibre for the trd spoiler end caps?

    Thanks guys, still waiting on the arrival of the badges but the measurements should help. The car has a smoothed tailgat but i feel its missing something. Also if its an original emblem i'll have to cut the locating pins off.

    As usual i wasnt aware of an event until it had passed. I live in north wales and recognised a few of the roads. Looked a great trip.

    Need to get my aem boost controller mapped in. Im only on wastegate pressure (1 bar) Did he give you a wheel power figure?

    Hi guys, just to tell you i received my membership card and stickers. Silly me thought they were decals that would peel the letters away from the clear back. Not the case so safe to say ive ruined them haha

    I am thinking about fitting my mk3 mr2 wheel to my 96 supra this weekend. From what i understand you can cut the end off the mr2 airbag wire and graft it to the supra one. Jobs a good un'! im assuming that the horn connectors are the same. I've seen 3 spoke yaris wheels that look good too.

    That car looks great, i saw it on their site and thought it must be good if they say it is. 39k is a lot of money for an import as thats usually reserved for uk manual tt6's. Personally i prefer the jap imports, dont like the headlight washers or bonnet vent really. My question is when are the auto prices going to go up again. I understand a manual conversion with v160/61 will enf up costing around 10k for used, untested parts (madness) but why should that mean a 10-15k price gap for a 3rd pedal??

    Yes i have a aem tru boost controller. Just need to figure out how to use it now. Haha

    It may well be worth just leaving it alone. Its not exactly slow now to be fair. Just thought if the powers there for free i should use it. Like you say its better to have a running happy engine than potentially melt it for an extra 2psi

    Thanks for the great reply, im based in north wales so surrey isnt probably my local rolling road. The only thing i dont know if its been upgraded is the fuel pump. The car was owned by alex a member on here and then another member dave, from norfolk. I dont know when the mods were done and if it was before the car was imported?
