  1. Just spent the best part of an hour bleeding the brakes, lots of air in there due to the calipers being off etc. Hopefully we're there now.
  2. Finished mine this morning, relatively easy job, took around an hour. The only issue really were the dust boots springs, they punish your fingers a fair bit
  3. Those look good, mine arent bad to look at, just felt they could have worked better. Found 3 pitted pistons in the drivers caliper. My old szr had lexus ls400 calipers, they worked great after i fitted them.
  4. I used to daily my szr, 3 years ago but it owed me 3.5k. 12k miles a year in that one. My rzs owes me a lot more now and i dont need a daily so that managed 1500 miles last year.
  5. What are we wetting the 2 split seals seals with, rebuild grease or brake fluid?
  6. It was recommended by chris wilson that i split the calipers for ease. I have purchased new sealing rings to replace the old. Lets hope they go back together ok then.
  7. Good evening folks, i have a caliper off and apart ready to fit new seals etc to tomorow. Just a quick one, anyone know the torque spec for the 4 caliper bolts, that hold the 2 halves together? Tia
  8. Just spotted a pair of lexus ls400 4 pot calipers on ebay. Not mine for sale. I had a set on my jap spec n/a, massive improvement in performance, bigger discs and a huge reduction in weight. Just thought someone might be after a set.
  9. Good evening chris, do we have an up to date price for a set of uk seals? Also does this come with the red lubricant? Thanks phil
  10. At those prices after postage, the stainless ones offered by chris wilson seem very competitively priced. I know its probably best practice to change all pistons at once but can you change just one or 2 in the caliper if they're found to be fubar?
  11. Sorry Dunk, that reply got sent twice. I will have a look later, cheers
  12. Thanks for the help guys. Does anyone know a part number for the pistons for front uk spec from toyota? Would like to fit stainless, funds say no.

  14. Hello everyone, my drivers front caliper has a habit of getting a bit sticky when not in use (all the time) im going to attempt to free it off but im pretty sure that will only be a temporary fix. Any good diy kits out there to rebuild them? Anyone done it with success? If all else fails, who do we pay to rebuild them? Thanks

Absolute rubbish, han is still alive! He has'nt called or text, thought we were family? You've changed man!!
  16. It looks miles better without the "turbo fans" fitted. I think if it was all one colour it would look tidy. And agree if someone wanted to gift me a full widebody kit, i wouldnt say no!!
  17. Ive been meaning to go for a while, is it exclusive to supra's? A friend has a tasty r33 gtr!
  18. These parts have been stored in the garage for a mate, who has now decided to build a different project car. K sport 330mm 8 pot big brake kit with ebc yellowstuffs and all hardware to fit £900 Bc coilovers £650. All parts are brand new, boxed and unfitted. If your intetested pm your number and i can whatsapp some photies. Thanks Phil
  19. Is the rear bumper still available, is the paint code -6N0?
  20. Hopefully it will go to someone who needs it and not someone after making a few quid after hoarding it for years but there is a heater matrix on ebay for £150 in "perfect working order" not mine, just saw it.
  21. Its a trick toyota continued to use, the mk3 mr2 has the same arrangement, then they hid the frunk (front trunk) open lever in the glovebox!
