  1. Hi Paul, If you come across a driver's side card in good to excellent condition, please bear me in mind. Thanks. Andy
  2. I'm also interested in the driver's side door card as well. Cheers.
  3. That'd be great - just send me a private message with the details.
  4. Hi Paul, Do you by any chance have a black driver's side card? Thanks, Andrew
  5. Thanks but the rest of the interior is immaculate and I'd like to keep it that way if possible
  6. Hi, Do you still have a driver's side door panel in good condition? Andy
  7. Ah oK - I'm after a black one then - I've put a rip in it through to the former underneath that can't be repaired.
  8. Hi, I'm after an original black leather driver's side door panel - preferably unmarked - for a 93 TT import. Has standard speaker fittings etc. Just accidentally damaged mine
  9. Hi, I'm based in Winchester - I've got a factory side skirt that has two long gouges in it and needs repainting. I've been quoted £272+vat from Central Park Body shop but that seems excessive to me. Any ideas if that's a fair price or should I go elsewhere for a quote? Cheers
  10. And there is that slight matter of 0-60 in 3.9 seconds...
  11. Cheers - I can't add much to what I've said already! After much reflection I'm hopefully going to buy a Cerbera 4.5. I've had a TVR before so I know what I'm letting myself in for!
  12. Thanks very much - but as I said, you can only drive one car at a time and I'd like a change of motor. I've had my fun out of it, time for someone else to have go.
  13. I'm selling my TT Aero as seen here. After 8 years of waiting for something better to come along I've decided to bite the bullet without having any idea of what I'm going to get next. Love the car to bits but you can only drive one car at a time and it's time for a change. Without a doubt the nicest motor I've ever owned. Cheers, Andy
  14. They're 18" but different widths front and rear. I'm not home till the weekend so I can't tell you exactly at the moment. The sticker came on the exhaust out of the box and I thought it looked vaguely ninja-ish, so I left it on.
  15. The time has come for me to sell my beloved 1993 TT Aero. Imported & purchased by JIC in 2000 I've been the only UK owner. 68000 miles. I have the full service history from new (the first part in Japanese!). The car is in all round excellent condition. Mechanically it's perfect and has been maintained regardless of expense though it could possibly benefit from a little touch up of the paint here and there to make it perfect (it's 14 years old after all) . It's been lowered (very lowered!) and has a very firm ride, has an aftermarket induction kit fitted, glass front headlights, powder coated Blitz alloys and a brand new RSR exhaust. Apart from that it's never been molested in any way and has been washed and waxed every weekend and always been garaged. It's never seen a trackday etc. This car has never let me down and I'll be very sorry to see her go. It's just had an oil service at ToyodaTech - if you call them they know the car. MOT'd & taxed until Aug 08. The reg A5 UPE - worth a couple of bob - comes with the car. I'm not interested in offers. Please check my garage for topless pics. Reason for sale; I want a 4.5 Cerbera and I can only afford to drive one car at a time. I'm based in Winchester, Hampshire. Also on Pistonheads
  16. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=120873 Might help if you need to get inside the roof.
  17. From my original post: I got the new lock from Toyota hence it was a whopping £60.
  18. Hi, I've just managed to replace the stripped centre dead bolt on my Aero roof without removing any of the weather strips and thought it might be of interest as you can also use this to gain access to all the bolts in the roof. This is how I did it; You can see what the problem was from the photos; after years of usage the thread had stripped. Photo 1 shows the new assembly, photo 2 shows the difference between old and new! I got the new lock from Toyota hence it was a whopping £60. 1) Firstly remove the plastic trim cover from the centre bolt (the one with the "open/shut" on it). This is done by twisting it 90% so you can remove it without breaking the tabs. 2) With a wide flat screwdriver VERY gently start to lever the headlining away from one end (photo 3) whilst very importantly (and not in the photo) holding the plastic trim back with a second screwdriver in opposition to the first. If you do this slowly enough and carefully enough you should be able to lift the whole headlining out from under the trim without damaging it. As the headlining material is made from a type of foam covered board, you can tell when it's starting to tear - stop and readjust the position of the screwdrivers. It took me 5 minutes just to do this so don't rush it. 3) Once the headlining is free of the plastic trim, insert the same flat screwdriver under the headlining and remove the plastic fixing lugs from the roof. Do not attempt to pull them as they will rip off the headlining! (see photo 4). I found inserting the screwdriver between the bottom of the lug and the roof itself worked best. 4) Once you have done this you can get access to the underside of the roof (to replace any of the bolts) (see photo5). 5) When you have replaced the bolt(s) with a 10mm spanner; press all the lugs back into the roof leaving the headlining just above the plastic trim. 6) The refitting process is removal in reverse (photo 6). Hold the plastic trim back with one screwdriver whilst running the headlining back with another. Tip; I found it much easier to start at both ends independently and meet in the middle. I'm off for a very smug pint. Andy
  19. OK, I ordered the centre lock assembly which was £56 from Toyota but according to the diagram the side trims are "use once parts" which means that they should be replaced when removed. I need four of them (2 per side, weatherstrip & trim) and they are a massive £72 each! Ouch! I was planning on dismantling the roof and then seeing if they "need" to be replaced. Anyone else done this? Cheers
  20. My thoughts are with Rik's family at this time; Very sad indeed.
  21. Great stuff - I have the second one, but not the first which has all the part numbers on - Cheers.
  22. Hi, My aerotop roof is stuck! 1) Does anyone have a part number for the centre roof deadbolt assembly as the allen key bit has stripped it's thread and I can't get my roof on/off? 2) How easy is it to remove the Aerotop roof headlining (and put it back again...)? Looking at my parts diagram, I'm not sure if the weatherstrips and roof mouldings need to be replaced as they are non-reusable parts (according to my diagram!) 3) If I need the weatherstrip & mouldings does anyone have the part numbers for these as well? Cheers muchly. Andy C
  23. Whenever I need to credit check tenants I use http://www.experian.co.uk or someone like that, pay my £20 and get a full written credit check/history. You get past adresses, credit score, number of bank accounts etc. Very useful.
  24. Mine's going for 25K as well - seems to be around the going rate these days.....
