  1. Well there WAS a good, picture filled guide in the technical section. But photobucket are c****. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?177475-How-To-Front-amp-Rear-Suspension-Change-Aftermarket-Coilovers-Adjustment
  2. IMO they need to compete with Jaguars F-type line up, but with Toyota pricing. Say £45k base model and 60odd for the balls out hybrid. Much more and there will be a huge step between GT86 and Supra
  3. Oh I agree the lack of "3JZ" is a bit of a copy out. Would be nice to see a bit more supra in there. It'll never be an NSX rival though surely? I was expecting pricing much more in line with those I posted and not £120k+!! Remember it's a "Z5" not an i8.
  4. What do you consider to be it's rivals? And don't say the GTR... I think I'd put it somewhere near this lot: 370z - 328ps 911 Carrera 4/4S - 370/420 F-type s - 340/380 400ps seems about right
  5. As above, model year. So an MY12 car may be sold in the start of 2013 on a 62 plate for example. A way of distinguishing model year as opposed to calendar year the car was sold in.
  6. Will we be doing Donington too? I'm offshore for the Silverstone one
  7. I've never worked with carbon fibre so not sure on this but can you bend it slightly by applying weight and then heat? Then it stays in the new shape once cooled?
  8. Were EU/US spec the same? UK would indeed be rarer because they are RHD.
  9. I only really want the piping but I guess I can sell the intercooler on... Can you pm me whereabouts in Norfolk you are? I'm offshore til Thursday but can collect after then
  10. You say they were taking photos over the hedge? So there's a boundary with an expectation of privacy? Pretty sure they're not allowed to do that. Tell the police you've seen someone taking photos. Got any children? Tell them they were there at the time.... BTW the "Speed plod & the law" sub-forum on pistonheads can be very good for this sort of thing.
  11. Getting all the more tempted by a forester sti to have as well as the supra. Then I worry it'll step on the Supras toes a bit too much.
  12. I'm off work from 17th May -13th of June. 4 weeks off and I'll miss it by a couple of hours
  13. My car came from Japan with HIDs fitted. Name on the ballast is "bellof" which seems to be a Jap make. I have one side not working and have tested both bulbs and ignitors on the working side. Ballast is getting 12v so must be faulty. Are all ballasts equal? Will any other type have the same connectors? First car I've had with HIDs and tbh for the amount of use it gets in the dark, they're a pain in the arse.
  14. Another vote for CTEK. They'd be perfect if the little quick connect lead was a bit longer. Then I could easily plug/unplug without popping the bonnet.
  15. I think once all parts are installed and running, all boost controller settings nailed down, then I'll start to hide things away. I'm looking around the cabin for good places to do this. Centre console possibly. Maybe even mount a couple of gauges and the boost controller into some sort of box that can be brought out for tuning/setup and left hidden away. Plenty of room behind that lower panel beneath the steering column. Or the same location on the passenger side. I've bought an analogue AEM AFR gauge purely because of its subtle looks so will see how it looks and decide then. Edit: building it all into the glove box is another option
  16. Have you got, or are you going to fit, an AFR gauge? That's my plan to keep an eye on things.
  17. Wish I was cool enough to stick my finger up at the Google camera car...
  18. What are import costs/taxes like in your country? You'd have a lot more choice if importing was an option. It seems you're drawn to this car because you want one and it's rare to find one rather than it being a particularly good example to buy. N/A autos in the UK start at around £5k.
  19. Yup, last couple I've seen for sale have been £50-60
  20. 84999-70009 bulb, air conditioner control 14v 1.54w
