  1. Depends on his commute. Recent motorway journeys for me have given 26.5 and 29.1. Standard car, not hanging about average 0.8leptons with the odd squirt at 1.X . Take it steady on a motorway commute and you'd easily see into the 30s.
  2. How so? Get yourself the fuel log app. I always try to run the tank low and fill to the first click. Avoid temptation to round up to nearest £. I type in litres, price per litre and odo reading and the app does the rest. You can plug in all sorts of other costs too and get £/mile figures etc. This is a screenshot for my MR2.

    Fuel tax

My "commute" to work is by helicopter. Cars are really just toys for me so fuel price isn't that relevant. I think between both cars (MR2 and Supra) I did 5k miles last year! Duty obviously makes it more expensive but being in the oil and gas industry means I'm one of few people who actually WANT the oil price to rise! Any fuel spend increase due to oil price is offset by share price
  4. Ok people, try to remain calm! This is NOT a drill!!!! And I've just parted with £16.62+vat for a new lid as this one has a broken clip. Happy days. It was even relatively cheap!
  5. Just outside Bristol. L52 SNO?? Facelift rear lights. Looked and sounded great.
  6. Looking forward to CWs new "TBFR" product line up!
  7. I think there was one. vvti airbox is different to the normal TT one And there seems to be a lot of people looking for vvti ones too
  8. I've been looking for at least 18months. Looks like I might have finally found one so I'll have a blitz Sus kit for vvti for sale in the near future. What have you got on there currently? Box is discontinued but lid is still available if you find one with a damaged lid
  9. Bump. What's the longest running wanted ad...?
  10. Not much of a consolation prize if you're forced to sell as you can't afford the parts prices to keep it running though
  11. Still wanting one of these. Someone must be able to be persuaded to part with one!
  12. Oh, so you do still come on here then? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?347893-Dzowani-What-s-the-deal&highlight=Dzowani
  13. One of very few events that I could actually make this year so I'm game!
  14. Personally, I like the wedsport TC105N. But for now, they're a bit spendy so I'll be going back to stock.
  15. I've often said it would be a good idea to have a website purely for the advertising of unskilled work, labouring etc. Offered and wanted sections. You go on there and place an ad along the lines of "labourer needed for digging driveway, 1-2days work next week, £XX/per day, lunch and biscuits included" anyone who wants it can then respond. All cash in hand. You get stuff done, someone gets quick easy money. I could do with the same for my garden. Need plenty of digging but don't want to pay for gardening/landscaping people when all I really need is a big eastern European bloke with a spade.
  16. I notice your other as is for a vvti cat. Does this mean that these turbos are from the same vvti car? I've never managed to ascertain for sure what the difference is between vvti and non, only that there is one?
  17. Wondering about this as well. Looking at Bilstein shocks and eibach lowering springs so don't want to risk rubbing as ride height won't be adjustable
  18. BTW. If it is from a vvti car, consider it sold!
  19. Which Supra? N/A, TT, TT vvti and UK/EU all had different ones.
