  1. And so it continues. Gonna be noticeably faster with all this weight reduction going on. All this for some slighter brighter lights!?
  2. Finally someone without a file in their hand
  3. I guess in my head I look at a cat and just picture it as a tiny open area. Whereas the RR looks like a "big" hole.
  4. How much more free flowing is the RR than the cats? It's a bit of a coincidence that it provides EXACTLY the same resistance non?
  5. How bad do we think the tolerances are on the whifbitz 1bar restrictor ring? I just can't see it being that far off so filing that out may just mask a pre-existing issue.
  6. Surprised no one else has said yet, but doing any of the above is just masking a problem. With what you have, you should definitely be getting more boost. Ask yourself why you're not getting the expected boost, not what else you can do to get more. Are both turbos coming online?
  7. Not sure how many local authorities have changed their tolerances since the new fines and bands were introduced. I went past a scamera van on the A11 in Norfolk a month or so ago at just under 80. Never heard anything so maybe they're still using the 10% +2 rule? Have you actually had the ticket through the post yet?
  8. The last few times I've shopped around I've always ended up with one of the "piggyback" networks. Currently with Plusnet using the EE network. 1000mins/texts, 3.5gb data, £8 per month. Customer service is... well Plusnet, so it's spot on. But yes you will talk to them and not EE/voda. What's your phone situation? Do you buy outright and get a sim only deal, or contract (buy the phone on finance). For me I don't want the latest and greatest phone so buy a Chinese one with good reviews, then keep it for longer than I would with a contract phone. Currently I have a OnePlus 3.
  9. I've got a hard pipe but looking for some matte black connectors, seems that might be the best option so far! Seems a shame to chop up a brand new part though
  10. It's just a bad year for events for me. I only work 20 weeks a year but my shifts have fallen on all of the major events .
  11. Sadly not I'm afraid. The intercooler is the only bit I'm interested in tbh if you want to sell the pipes separately? Would certainly make it a much smaller box without that long pipe. Happy to pay for postage if you can get a quote?
  12. Will take the CW side mount and a set of 10mm spacers please. Will need postage too. Pm me
  13. There's a few things I want to tidy up in the engine bay and one of these is the top rad hose. I have a hard pipe and 2 connectors. I'm happy with the hard pipe but want 2 new connectors as the current ones look pretty tired. Where do I need to Be looking and what size? Would prefer a matte black OEM look as opposed to blue or shiny. Also, while I'm here, what size hoses do I need for the vac/vsv lines? I remember seeing a thread with all the sizes and a good place to buy but can't find it. Finally, is there anything I can do to neaten up my throttle cable? The black plastic coating is all perished and falling off it.
  14. OEM? Can you pm me a price for a TT6 one?
  15. It never really got that tight tbh. The captive nut was a bit rusty so provided a bit of resistance. There was barely any more resistance from the plastic. If it had spun in finger tight and then stopped short I may have noticed
  16. I've already sent him an email after seeing you post this comment elsewhere [emoji23]. I'm dreading the reply with a price!
  17. So today, I have to admit, I've been a complete penis. As some of you may know, I've searched for 2 years to finally find an airbox. Well today I fitted it along with the 2 air ducts. Turns out the bolt I had for the air duct that goes over the rad was too long... Long story short there's now a bolt sized hole in the top of my rad Toyodiy suggests the rad can be split into sections. Does this mean I can find a knackered rad and swap the plastic tops over? Or am I now just stuck with buying an aftermarket ally one?
  18. £150-200 ish was my first thought too. You could also factor into the mix that although rare, who actually wants to buy one? Demand is hardly high for them!
  19. My figures are for a vvti TT6. Spot the motorway runs...
  20. Is it an aftermarket manual override switch or the OEM switch? The blitz override switch I've seen sell for £100 on its own...
  21. 28 should be easy on your commute. You won't be getting much more than 250 miles to a tank so you shouldn't have weekends to skew results. How often do you need to be staring at an MPG gauge? A couple of mon-fri 50mile runs will give you an idea how feasible it is. After that, why do you need to be so exact? Remember, the app will give you a figure every time you fill up. So mon-fri commute, fill up. Sat-sun blast, fill up. LPG seems a faff and a big set up cost, if you can live with 28mpg it's a waste of time and money (initially). Not to mention other problems it can cause with engines.
