  1. If you REALLY want one, there was a guy in Australia who posted an ad on the Europe Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/supraforumseurope/permalink/2472757036272439/?sale_post_id=2472757036272439
  2. Went to the post office to pick up the boost controller yesterday, thanks. Now I've just got to figure out how it's all plumbed in!
  3. No, but do keep us informed if you make any progress
  4. Where are you thinking the MAF is mounted in that picture? As far as I can see on the parts catalogue, the round outlet (right of your pic) is extended in a vvti box and is where the MAF attaches. The UK spec has a separate pipe that holds the maf that attaches to that outlet.
  5. That's not to say one couldn't be made to fit I guess. If the MAF sensor has the same connection in both cars???
  6. I don't think they are. Certainly a different part number. Join the queue for a vvti airbox, been looking for a year and not seen one ETA: Looks like MAF housing is a separate bit of pipe on a UK spec. VVTI is moulded into the outlet of the box.
  7. I take it you're not on Facebook...
  8. Quite bulky. This is mine. Fits neatly under the dash. Not sure how many others do it but mine drains the battery when left plugged in so remember to unplug it when not in use.
  9. Just got a quote from Adrian Flux. £465. 3k miles, £23k agreed value, all BPU mods declared. 29y/o with 6 years no claims mirrored from the policy on my daily. Chalk and cheese how different the level of customer service was compared with FJ. I'll always ring around each year but the hassle I've had with FJ means I won't even be trying them again For reference last years quote was the following: Footman James (crooks). £427 with only exhaust and induction kit. £17k value (knocked down from £23k but no refund on quote...). Renewal for the same was £721!
  10. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?338434-TB-Developments-TT-Decat-Pipes&highlight=developments+decat Top quality product these.
  11. If it doesn't sell, second dibs Do you have any pictures of what it comes with? (easy writer, sensor etc)
  12. Steve Manley is the name you're after. Inchcape Toyota oxford
  13. Here's a starter for 10...
  14. The method you're describing I believe is there so you can clean the blade. The only way to have it down with the engine running and at low speeds is to fit an aftermarket override switch. It comes down automatically at >60mph-ish
  15. Would you sell the gauge pod separately?? If so what would you want for it posted?
  16. Throttle body is a bit weak on vvti's. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?339649-ICV-stuck-Car-won-t-idle&highlight=Throttle+body+reset See post #5 about how to reset. Worth a try as it worked for me with similar symptoms.
  17. I'm working on an excel template currently to document my DIY car servicing. Mainly it will be a simple table to print out to fill in mileage and work done. However I'll probably end up sharing it here as I want to add hyperlinks to the FAQ section for certain jobs as well as lists of other "non service" preventative maintenance jobs. Also for part numbers etc. Think of it as a "dummies" guide for working on your Supra.
  18. Didn't the CD changer come with its own little controller? I'm sure I've seen a picture of one.
  19. Footman James renewal came through today. £427.23 last year, now they want £721.60. I'll be glad to be f***ing shot of 'em to be honest. Nothing but hassle from the start.
  20. Fronts are £40.81 +vat. Does seem a bit keen. Just noticed TCB also sell "rear strut bump stop". No pictures but I'm assuming this is something else I need? Front and rear?
  21. There seems to be a few different ones though with the same part numbers. Those pictures are from europerformance.co.uk and whifbitz respectively. Same part number but completely different spring seat and lower mounting?
