  1. People get hung up on certain things with a car sale. I'm sure I did myself no favours being totally honest in the advert for my car when I said the car had a little rust and a very small oil leak. People see that as an issue and will simply go elsewhere. Same thing with mileage. People have in mind that they want the lowest mileage possible and if you mileage exceeds that then straight away it's a problem. Even if that mileage cannot be substantiated...
  2. What have you done about the super loud exhaust on the RX7?
  3. Are all the NA suspension components the same as the one's found in a TT?
  4. Thanks for that. That backs up what was in that link, that the flywheel is the same as the TT but the clutch different.
  5. If it's true then that's good news.
  6. Clutch and flywheel I would expect to change with a much more powerful engine. It's interesting to know that I'd also need to consider changing the diff as well if I want to maximise the top speed.
  7. Once again, many thanks. I've got this sneaking suspicion that I could have saved a thread and used the search button.
  8. Hey, that's great news. That's for the info. I have a question about gear ratios though, What difference will the Diff/Final Drive ratio make if the UK TT has 3.133 and NA 3.769? What affect does that actually have? (Please excuse my ignorance on this)
  9. The reason I ask is that I'm going to have a 6-speed SZ-R imported in the near future and my long-term plans are to drop in a more powerful engine in maybe 2 or 3 years time. I'd like to know that the transmission is going to be able to handle about 500bhp, which I know the V160 will.
  10. I'd be interested to know the difference between a V160 and V161. I wonder if they can handle the same power. (I would imagine not considering it's specced to fit the NA)
  11. Does anyone know whether the 6-speed manual box fitted to some SZ-Rs is the same unit as the one fitted to the TT?
  12. Did you use a torque wrench for undoing the bottom pulley bolt? I was under the impression that you should only use a torque wrench for tightening stuff and use a things like a breaker bar to get ready tightly done up stuff undone. (Happy to be wrong here, I'm just a trainee mechanic and just picking up stuff as I go along)

    my old m3

    nice engine bay. beautiful.
  14. Is the engine standard? And is the bhp figure at the wheels?
  15. It's an official "sport": http://www.ifoce.com/ Saw them on TV a couple of weeks ago and it's amazing how much food some people can pack away.
  16. That's a good price for low mileage turbos.
  17. According to the eBay advert it has a removable hard top. I wonder how much of the roof gets removed when you do that. I bet it would improve it.

    Vista SP1

Of the many automatic updates which MS have sent to my Vista PC, two have destroyed it. I've had to manually back out those changes to get it working again.

    Vista SP1

I upgraded my desktop PC with SP1 about a month ago and it worked ok. I know that's not alot of help but at least it shows it can work. Can you boot from a repair disk and remove the upgrade?
