  1. The only speed a MKIV Supra is an "economy drive" is at 0mph with the engine OFF. At all other speeds you'll find your petrol moving very rapidly indeed.
  2. You're a star mate. Many thanks for that. Will PM you.
  3. Had I still had the car I would have been getting over to JAE by about 11am on Saturday and leaving mid/late afternoon on Sunday. How does that fit with your plans?
  4. Can anyone help me out with a lift to JAE from Colchester on the Saturday and a return home on Sunday? I'll happily contribute to the petrol costs.
  5. That's what I needed to know. Thanks.
  6. Oh. In that case. Could you lend me your car for 3 months whilst mine is being sourced and shipped from Japan then please mate?
  7. Cheers Kev. I know that the bonnet scoop is probably not needed on an NA engine but I've always wanted one so will probably be getting one fitted before I even set eyes on the car. I really need to find someone whose done this before to confirm that everything fits in place. (As I don't have a car to measure against any more)
  8. 12204-46020. But check with Toyota and make sure that's the part you are expecting.
  9. Thanks for the info. Jurgen is finding me my next Supra and I want a scoop fitted to it once it arrives. Once he's found it I'll buzz you for a price for the kit.
  10. Can a UK spec bonnet vent (with the air duct under the bonnet) be fitted to an SZ-R? I'm wondering whether the inlet manifold on the SZ-R would get in the way of the gubbins which are fitted to the underside of the vent.
  11. I can confirm that AVG have fixed this now. Do another update and it'll sort itself out.
  12. I'm hoping that the Jurgen-Factor is going to work for me also. Well done on the purchase.

The girl getting flipped on her her was great.
  14. Gets a fair amount of abuse.
  15. Hope you had a good birthday mate.
  16. Good luck with the sale. Took 2 weeks for my BPU GZ to sell very recently.
  17. Funny enough ours needs overhauling as well. The roof almost blew off last winter. Be interested to know the cost.
  18. The supra guide pdf shows that the SZ-R had the active spoiler as an option and that the SZ did not. Is that the part which is incorrect?
  19. Cool. I shall keep "active spoiler" on my feature list for my new car then, which will be an SZ-R.
  20. That sounds like the same thing I had on my old GZ. Had everything apart from the actual spoiler unit on the front because the previous owner had had a Veilside front fitted for a few years and then returned it to standard. But in the meantime had got shot of the active spoiler assembly.
  21. Has anyone ever heard of an SZ or SZ-R which had a factory fitted active spoiler? I've checked the model differences and it indicated that it was an option, I'm just wondering whether anyone had actually come across a car which had one fitted straight from the factory.
