  1. FWIW I did some checking a while ago about the availability of the Induction Motorsports cast manifold and queried it's potential maximum power with a guy called Jeff.
  2. I can watch it just as long as I don't have to listen or see Tiff. What a c0ck that man is.
  3. Many many thanks to Probrox for the lift to and from JAE this year. Believe it or not it is possible to get 3 people in a Supra and all their camping equipment. I thought the organisation of the club stand was excellent. I realise there were issues but as a member I felt well looked after. The food was great, big thanks to all those involved in that.
  4. It would have said that I looked after it far far better than and previous owner.
  5. My only concern with doing that is that the underside of the scoop will look unfinished and non-standard when you open the bonnet. I'd want everything to look like it left the factory that way. To be honest if I have to cut the ducting about to make it fit I probably wont fit it. I really need to find a car at JAE which has had this done and take a look.
  6. I've decided not to go and see this car. The dealer didn't fill me with any confidence and there's are too many unknown factors about the car. Scooter: Many thanks for your offer of help though. Really appreciated.
  7. I've printed yours on my colour inkjet. Not quite as good quality as laser printing but it looks ok. I'll bring it on Saturday.
  8. Good man. Didn't realise that you'd done one for me as well. Nice one.
  9. I'll do that. Thanks. What would that signify?
  10. Put it in the back of a Mini. You'll have to make it remote controlled though because I doubt you'd get a drivers seat in the front as well.
  11. Nice one fella. I'll do the same. I'll let you know tomorrow whether I'm going to see it or not.
  12. I'm in the process of Jurgen obtaining for me a 98 black 6-speed SZ-R. The budget is around 8K and that seemed about right to me. Taking that into account this X-reg car doesn't look like bad value. Obviously the price would come down with some fervent haggling. If you're available Sunday afternoon then I'd be more than happy to have a second pair of eyes look the car over.
  13. If I go and see it it will be this Sunday. I'm at JAE on Saturday and Sunday morning. My concern with this car is that if it's an X reg then it must have been imported before 2004. I rather wanted a fresh import and that car has possibly seen 4 years of life in the UK. It's very very close to what I'm looking for though. I'd love a second opinion if you're available. Assuming it's an X-reg, does the advertised price seem reasonable, or is it high?
  14. I'm looking for a 6-speed black SZ-R and Jurgen pointed this car out to me tonight as a potential. Going to speak to the garage tomorrow morning.
  15. What's a fair price in the current market for that car? (Assuming that it really is an X reg)
  16. As a parent you do your level best to avoid your children getting hurt. But accidents do happen and both of you will learn from it. (i.e. he wont do it again, you'll keep a closer eye on him getting out of the car)
  17. My eldest daughter learnt the hard way that light bulbs are very hot. She never tried to touch one again. She had a painful little blister on her index finger for a couple of days as a reminder.
  18. In my 3 year ownership of a Supra TT it cost £1000 in the first year, £200 in the second and £800 in the third. Not low running costs but as has been pointed out, it was a 14 year old performance car and you've got to expect it.
  19. How did you find coolant in the gearbox?
  20. Thats funny. Some other good vids on that website too.
