  1. I'll leave for someone else to purchase, I've been advised not to go for it as I might not need them by my mechanic, just me being too eager
  2. I'm worried that they wont fit with the wheels I'm purchasing, Linear Course LC818: http://www.rarerims.co.uk/wheelshop_products.asp?productid=36&rangeid=3&product=LC818 Also, if my car is an import will they bolt straight on? How long have they been used for on your vehicle?
  3. I thought I read someone wanted them if the were uk?
  4. I could be interested in the discs, pads and hoses, how much without the callipers?
  5. Stupid question but how do I know if mine are uk or jap spec ?
  6. Well just a place people have their own spot and show their car Might have to have a gander but it's a bit of a drive though
  7. Chels is a babe Ah yours is the purple Sup? Looks decent! I've seen photos of it before, loved the colour and it's stance
  8. Friend of mine at DFP has some photos up, you can check them out here! https://www.facebook.com/chels.darkfairyphotography/photos/?tab=album&album_id=811026985664239
  9. Wish I read the forums earlier ! I have one on order but it's 4K on finance ! Eeek Would be nice to get manual in it but not sure if I can get one cheap enough [sAD][/sAD]
  10. Will this bolt straight onto the N/A? Could be interested
  11. If I'm being honest Herbie, I bought it for 4k and I've spent money on it that I wanted to get back. Advertised at £4.5k I haven't had much interest in it, only a few time wasters and I dont believe it's worth 6k IMHO. Having said that, I have ordered a turbo for it and having problems with my other motor, thus being the reason I've decided to keep. Will
  12. Thread can be removed / locked. Decided to keep.

Mileage: 116,000km (73,000m) MOT remaining: 03/09/2016 Service history: Sorry I can't be sure, I will have to update post Friday when home from work. Car's location: Seaton, Devon Modifications: Flappy Panel Gearbox Good bits: Cambelt and belt tensioner done a few hundred miles ago Bad bits: There is what I think is the lacker coming off on the rear bumper so it looks like it's cracking and wheels will need a refurb PRICE 4500 I will be home Friday for any more information Please PM for contact details.
  14. I'm not sure where to go and what the best cost effective option is on getting a manual transmission for my Supra. It's currently a NA Automatic but I'm wanting to put in a manual gearbox as apparently the torque converter sucks up alot of the power and I'm a believer in a manual being a 'drivers' thing! Looking at costs, I'm seeing about 3-4k to get the conversion going and I think that's just absurd. I've seen other supras for sale around 4-5k manual NA's but I dont particularly want to sell mine as I've gotten rather attached to it and I know that everything is good with it and I dont want to buy possibly something that might cost me alot of money in repairs. So what do I do? Do I sell my car and get a manual? Get a conversion or just stick with the Auto? It's a 4 speed and I would like more power from it so maybe the Stage 2 autobox might be the way to go? (Not sure how many gears it has).. As I am looking for a TT conversion too, I think spending 4k on a manual conversion and a further 4k on Turbos sounds like a colossal waste when I could pick up a TT Manual for that price! -- Not sure whether to put this here or not but I'm wondering what people would realistically be willing to pay for my car. I am NOT looking to sell immediately but it might help me with my decision on what to do.. As stated, It's an 1995 Auto NA Cover around 115,000km (72k I think) A few weeks ago it had it's Cambelt changed along with bearing in the tensioner, oil filter and housing gaskets Tyres are good but wheels do need a referb MOT for another 8 months no advisories No dents or scratches but rear bumper has cracks under the lights from what I believe might be weather? New Vibe air speakers It's got flappy panel Ignore the cracked front plate, that's now been replaced. I haven't got any pictures of the interior, I can get some but it's a pain as the garage is so narrow, it was a pain to park it!
  15. So the question is still not answered as everyone seem'd to of shared their opinions on whether they like it or not..
  16. Thanks guys, I've spoken to the mechanic. He wasn't aware his tax hadn't auto renewed so it's taxed now. Still don't think I'm insured though I'll have to ring tomorrow
  17. I am a named driver on my fathers policy (I use the car for weekends as I work away during the week) and the car has gone into the garage due to slave cylinder and clutch being replaced. As I am driving to Edinburgh in a few days, my mechanic gave me his car to drive. As I am only a named driver and nearly 21, am I insured to drive the vehicle? Also, I've done a reg check on his car and it's got expired tax from 1st December. I know cars legally need to be taxed but is there anything that might suggest that I can drive it without tax? Would I personally get penalized if I get pulled?
  18. Seen this 2002 350z for sale, not sure how much these are worth but doesn't £150,000 seem a little excessive? http://www.motorsportauctions.com/category/439/Drifting/listings/34502/Nissan-350Z-Tokyo-Drift.html
  19. I think it looks lovely but I agree, it's probably more suited for golfs ect. I would like to use it as a show car predominantly, especially as here in Devon the roads aren't very 'smooth'. It's going to be a long project. Not sure what colour to have it in yet either as I want it to look right with gold wheels. I must say I do love Ric's Gunmetal Grey Supra but I dont think Gold would go with Grey so was thinking possibly black?
  20. I've been looking at Anthony's bagged supra and I think it's gorgeous I've found out these wheels are Grand Prix made by Niche Roadwheels and I love the drop it has. Is this done through Airride ? What needs to be done to have the body lower over the wheels? Bigger & wider wheel arches? Cheers
  21. It's not a turbo no. I want to make a conversion some time in the future.
  22. Hi guys Im looking at taking my Supra off the road for a while so I can allow myself to save some money to spend on some upgrades. I have an 4 speed Auto box with flappy panel. It's called a G-Shift 2.10 from GT Technology according to the handbook. I cant seem to find out anything about it As I want to upgrade to a manual (Would it give me better performance?), I was wondering if anyone knew how much the gearbox and flappy panel was worth if I was to sell it? It's got 115,000km on the clock. Much obliged Will
