Hope someone can help me out here , I need to alter the rev limit on the launch control. Just tried to open the software that Pete at THOR gave me and I think the disc is corrupt or summit so I can't open the file. It's the file called RLTC Settings.exe Has anyone got this and is it possible to email it? Thanks in advance. Phil

Ok, this could be stupid question time! I'm having my J-spec brakes upgraded to uk calipers and brembo discs. My question is, will this affect the RLTC set up on the ABS side? Am I gonna feel it cut in harder etc or am I being a t**t for even asking this Cheers Phil

Had the second cat out in mine for a while and have just replaced the first cat with a pipe and restictor ring from Paul Whiffin, been out for a spirited drive today up the M4 and am getting slight overboost in 6th gear only. Just gotta play about with the boost controller a bit now to try and eliminate it. Course, the best thing about having boths cats out is I now get massive flames out the exhuast!! -
Yep, Spot on! They're polished UK specs and Brembo discs, as for the insurance question, I'm actually expecting a reduction as they're a safety feature!

Hi mate, I've tried most of the so called 'specialists' in and around the Bristol area and have found that none of them are really set up to deal with or have the knowledge to give me any confidence. I've recently taken my sup to THOR racing near Coventry and was well impressed with them, yes it's a bit of a trek, but well worth it when you consider the consequence of taking your pride and joy to someone who doesn't really know what there talking about. Only took me about an hour and a half from Bristol. This is where my car will be going for all of it's work from now. Cheers Phil

Hi Mate, the button with lots of 'bobbly bit' on should be your panic button, think you've got to press it twice to activate. The stripyb one is for additional features if you've got them installed. Shouldn't be any probs with taking the battery off. The bit with the the pins on is for when the battery on the keyfob goes down so you can deactivate the alarm. Hope this helps. Phil

Ok, Dumb question time! I've just fitted an cat replacement pipe to my '98 J Spec to replace the second cat. Upon inspecting the peice I removed it looks to be more like a baffle than a catalyst i.e no honey combe stuff inside. Is this right or what. Cheers Phil

Had this problem myself at the weekend mate! Turned out the spotty youth who'd done the alignment hadn't tightened the camber/toe adjusting bolts. So yes, it's very likely that something is loose.
