Gasket at junction of exhaust down pipe and cat has blown. It's triangular and sits proud of flange. However, only part listed by Toyota shows a plain circular gasket. I have been assured by a guy who knows that this is not the correct one. Toyota insist it is and is the only gasket supplied for this point in the exhaust system. One I need has 3 holes for 3 studs. Could it be cat isn't standard. Please help. Ps. If I strip it first to check the gasket will disintegrate. So don't want to do this if I can help it.

I don't know if he's a member, but i do know the last owner runs AR Tuning and has spent a lot of time and money on the car during the years he owned it.

The guy got a speeding ticket and now can't afford insurance. I've seen this car in the flesh. It's fine. Cars don't deteriorate because they've had a few owners.

I need to put longer wheel lugs on my supra. JZA80 TT. Anyone know number of splines on the lugs. This is of some Importance I'm told. Thank you.

Hi, The reason I didn't send any pics is as follows. The gentleman contacted me via Sms and I told him I didn't want to drop any lower than 13.5k. He said if you were flexible on price I would be interested. I asked how flexible. I.e how much would he be prepared to offer if he was happy with the pictures. He didn't respond with a price. I am not uploading 50 shots like some other guy did only to be asked if I'd accept 10k or 11 whatever. I feel I was absolutely justified. I'm not messing around with people that what to take the mick.

Thank you Scooter for your very clear understanding. I was ripped off. I am ashamed to admit that. I don't know if I should keep the car. I can get bonnet resprayed and sort front bumper for less than a grand: buy new seats. Battery strap etc. The car is an awesome drive. Everything tight as hell. As a machine it's perfect. As a piece of art it's not. I've been offered 11. Don't know what to do.

Try as I have I cannot determine what a standard front bumper is for my car. Facelift lights for the front - can't find any on eBay. To be honest I don't see what's wrong with the front bumper. Can you please advise me.

I'm sorry I've been an ass. This isn't what I am. I just want to salvage my disastrous purchase. I accept i have been screwed by Revitup.com. The car is awesome and surely it must be worth something near what I paid. I trusted them and paid the price. No jokes please.

Actually. I didn't haggle when I bought it. I paid what they asked. I expect on here my thrashing will continue and I'll sell it for very much less than I advertised. I didn't expect in a million years I would get what I paid for it. On the other hand I have a 1976 Gibson Les Paul. Awesome guitar. Worth £1300. But if I auctioned it and two people wanted it because it was so rare and the chance might not come their way again I could and likely would get excess of £2000. I will heed your moral lesson and aspire to your values and honesty. You like me must have a very strong sense of fiscal honesty. If I said you could have the car for 5k would you take it? Or tell me to not be stupid.

Yes. I'm overweight. I've driven the car most days sometimes twice day usually for short runs and get it in the motorway to work both turbos. Because I'm overweight I have to slide down into the seat and what was minimal wear has become more serious. Hope this puts your mind at rest.

It says an owner doesn't (present tense) not an owner didn't (past tense). Doesn't implies me didn't doesn't imply me.

I do car about the car. I had researched the car for months. I've owned an st lift back 2.0l a celica st 1.8 and a celica gt. The supra was on my bucket list. I've had immense enjoyment from this car and have enjoyed the attention it attracts. I'm a very young 63 yr old man and I just want to sell my car. I know I was ripped off now but hey ho! Bmwmotors are coming to see it Monday.

How dare you insult me. A battery clamp is about as important as a pimple on my butt. I have treasured this car throughout the time I've owned this car. You'd probably screw the ass off it after you'd put a new battery clamp and say that's giving a rats ass. No more please.

I bought the car in June 2015. Not allowed to drive it. Clutch was knackered. Slipping in 4th,5th 6th. Replaced it. No history on timing belt. Previous owner gone to ground so replaced it. Car has been polished so whiter than when I purchased. Turbo timer fitted. Dynoed. Running 338 at 0.9 bar. I am told this is an excellent report and means car behaving with no problems. I was told it was BPU. it doesn't have a restrictor ring and was lied to by the dealership when I asked. It does have 1 cat fitted. It has never been driven in the wet by me - ever. My main vehicle is an escort van. I've had the callipers repainted too.
