  1. From an insurer's point of view the onus is on you as the owner to make sure your car is in a roadworthy condition and complies to all traffic and safety laws.
  2. No stand but I was there in mine with the guys doing the Retro Run on the Saturday and a track parade on Sunday. We were parked up near Luffield next to all the Porsches. Did see one other Quicksilver Supe.
  3. Can I have an OEM set please. Noticed a small amount of water in the boot.
  4. +1 for the Provoke Designs stopper. Got one on mine and seems to work fine
  5. I've seen it all now. OK internet, you've won
  6. Watched this the other day - loads of small details I never knew about. Was particularly impressed with the rear aerodynamics around the spoiler. Always thought it was just a bodykit and never realized as much engineering had gone into it as it obviously has!
  7. Almost, only mod was Blitz Nur Spec catback (both cats still in, so boost should have still been the same) and made exactly 320 flywheel, 280 wheel. Makes me wonder if Toyota were quoting the wheel horsepower as a way of getting around the agreement. 1997 VVTI TT6
  8. Nice to see a Supra on the show finally, although more actual talking about the Supra and less about Paul Walker’s extended family would have been preferred. Think they could also have chosen a better example. I couldn't stop looking at the front bumper not lining properly! Also J-spec brakes

  10. Have often thought about one of these as a good all rounder instead of my current Supra/daily setup. However given that my daily is a Civic Type R of the same generation (EP3) I don't think a DC5 would be different enough for me to get excited over.
  11. My auto TT revs all the way to the limiter while in park? Stock twins and ecu.
  12. Quick update: Found the source of my suspension knock - the driver's side rear coilover had been leaking and the damper was fapping about doing nothing! Thought about rebuilding but as they are the JDM Teins the car was imported with thought it would just be easier to replace, so went for some nice new BC Racing BR series. To say the car is transformed is an understatement! Not only has the knock gone but the car now glides over bumps, all the harshness I would usually associate with coilover suspension has now gone - I think the decision to choose rubber top mounts rather than pillow-ball style ones like on the Teins helped a lot! In other news, the Supra has gained a new stablemate Factory Midnight Purple 180sx Type X - allegedly the only one in the UK in this colour!

I enjoyed it (other than the needless destruction). Couldn't really care less about the 34 - looked ropey to begin with - but that RX7 was one of the nicest I've seen Hopefully it finds a new owner in the UK who is good at panel repair.
  15. Saw you coming the other way yesterday between Hilborough and Swaffham - heading towards Mundford. I was also in my Supe (alpine silver TT) and waved.
  16. I like it, the lines and proportions look good, and can see some of the FT1 features in it, as well as the MKIV. A good indication of what the road car will look like. Will I buy one though?
  17. Do we know what the story is with the track parade/session is yet? Or are numbers still too low?
