Would any facelift TT owners be willing to lend me an afternoon of their time and their gauge cluster so I can test a theory as to what is bringing up my ‘error 42’ death code flashing? I believe it’s just soldering going dry inside the clocks that’s preventing the ECU from receiving a signal from the odometer, but ideally want to know for certain before I go out and buy a new cluster/send mine off to be fixed. Will pay in beers. PFA Also, before everyone gives their 10p’s worth about other possible fixes, yes I’ve already removed the speed converter, so my car reads in kms, and yes I’ve already tried the splicing of the pink and blue/red wires fix. Neither has worked.

For a 96 TT Auto, non vvti, non tiptronic

Mine has disintegrated somehow and currently held together with cable ties. 96 J spec TT auto

I’m also based in Fareham (well Gosport technically) and haven’t seen another Supra?

....or SLD do people recommend for a Facelift, non vvti, non tiptronic TT Auto? Recently pulled a dodgy cheap universal one out and not really getting on with it reading in KMs, plus it now has the factory 112mph speed limiter enabled, which just won’t do! I’ve looked on Whifbitz site and all they have listed are ones for manuals, or for vvti tiptronics. Nothing for the older Autos. Thanks

Thinking or refurbishing my calipers in the near future and looking for some original style 'Supra' decals (white text with red underline) for UK spec big brakes. Also, any suggestions on what paint to use to get as close to the original factory gunmetal/dark grey colour? 96 facelift TT.
