  1. If no ones made a start on these I'm sure I could have a look into it? Let me know if anyone has?
  2. Welcome, was this the black uk spec that was at auction today?
  3. My exact thought, a production line isn't going to spray a shell in different colours, the problems I think the 199 owners are having here is discolouration of a light colour with engine oils etc staining an unsealed surface
  4. Did they buy to re sell or is it another one of those scam adverts?
  5. I got a whole new brake set up but have decided to go with CW fast road pads so the oem toyota pads that I ordered are surplus to requirements. These costs £170 delivered from whifbitz and I'm selling for £110 + postage by royal mail tracked service usually no more then £6 iirc
  6. Thanks, what are all 4 mounting points like? Mine rusted a little on one of the mounting points on the top hence the need for another?
  7. As above, has anyone got on that they would sell me? Thanks
  8. Bloody hell that's a bad one, looks like a sheet of puff pastry
  9. They are indeed but they're going back and will be replaced with proper pads
  10. Totally down to personal preference but I prefer the wiper and aerial left as they are, but then my supra is stock so just my opinion.
  11. So today I received a whole new brake set up, the old ones were in good condition but I fancied new all round so here they are just need to decide on a decent set of pads, porterfield or cw fast road, i cant decide!
  12. Hi guys For sale is my full UK brake set up with CW front pads and toyota rears. These pictures were taken roughly 2k miles ago when I had my underside done, CW pads installed at the time this pic was taken. All in good condition, very slight lip on front discs Will include a new set of decals Pick up from bedford, Aylesbury or abingdon. No postage as these are heavy and I haven't got time Any questions just ask Only up for sale for a short time whilst my car is having work done, once work has finished on my car I won't be taking these off until next year Price, ££1150
  13. With supras coming upto 30 years old now that's what 95% of them look like underneath. £20k will get that looking mint again though. you also have to think about all the engine rubbers too as most of these have perished and are waiting to split/burst. I'm having my engine bay done atm and I'm already £1.7k ish deep on just little parts that have corroded/split/perished. In another 5/10 years all these supra owners that haven't had this work done are going to be in for a big shock when the come to do it and no parts are left. Best to do them now people as the parts supply is drying up rapidly and its almost everyday another item becomes discontinued!

    Just unreal!!!
  15. Brilliant price, they 350+ everywhere else, il be getting one too!
  16. Cheers Yes definitely, 355's sound out of this world! And yes definitely got to be more careful in a 355, never driven one but I'd imagine if you had the back end out on a rear engined car it would be abit of a kind of pendulum effect and very tricky to correct compared to the supra. With regards to dragonball, you should definitely come on Burnas run in Sept to nurburgring, in the 355 I might add, sod the miles and depreciation haha. Its going to be a right laugh if France was anything to go by!!!
  17. Here's one I went for a little cruise with before, absolute work of art, the owner had a collection of cars and said he preferred driving his supra, I told him he is mad
  18. Ooo lovelyy, my absolute dream car that is!!!
  19. The top sections for gte can be bought new, the assembly itself for a ge can be bought new, not sure if they're interchangeable though, look pretty similar?
  20. You might still be able to buy them brand new, I just bought the new top sections of them for my engine refresh
  21. I've got a pro elite and fits fine on my 93 4 spoke wheel

It's the going rate these days unfortunately for a proper job. Sure I know a guy who's painted a mates 106 rallye before for under 1k, but he masked the rubbers, cardboard box against the wheels and sprayed it outside in the yard when it was windy and cold, you could see the rallye blue coming through the new red paint, there was flys and fluff stuck in the paint and it lost its shine after a month. You get what you pay for!
  23. Spoke with Lee at srd, I don't question anything that man says haha he said compared to ceramic they dont spool as quick, to do with steel being heavier I guess
  24. One of my turbos has some damage to the blades, a rebuild is 1k and they can only rebuild with steel blades which means I lose torque and its money better spent elsewhere on my engine refresh that i feel is about to spiral into a money pit Anyone have any good condition turbos laying about with no to minimal shaft play and good condition blades? Cheers
