    new wheels???

Ah damn it only reason I'm getting rid of my current alloys is because they stick out.. really like them, anyone got any suggestions on similar alloys with dish, lip or concave??
  2. Hello everyone, I've been looking for new wheels for ages, and the other day I saw a supra with "cosmis racing xt206r" I thought it looked very nice, any one used this brand before? And what do you think they look like? Many thanks...
  3. £1400 seems a little excessive lol, think you may have been had over for that price, and you wouldn't but every hp counts on a n/a and I want it to sound abit nicer too, so until I can afford a proper TT I think I will bother
  4. Hi everyone, I've been searching for a exhaust mani for my n/a manual, but they seem impossible to find? :/ I've seen some chappy OBX ones on ebay but if a manifolds under £100 then you know it's shit lol. So just wondering if anyone on here has had the same difficultly in sourcing one? And if any of you folks know where to find one that would be awesome cheers
  5. Hello again everyone Recently got 18s on the supra, it's still on standard suspension and sits high, now I wouldn't mind it for a while but standard suspension is very soft and everytime I hit a dip or bump my rear wheels scrape on the back arches Now obviously the best route would be to get coil overs onit but I'm thinking of just sticking springs on, I have xxr 527's and they are quite wide so they do poke out of the arch by about 6mm, what do you gurus suggest ?? Hard springs that are lowered a little ?? Or coileys ?? Suggestions for brands welcomed Cheers guys
  6. Haha well il look forward to the job satisfaction I get when I get to do that one then
  7. Yer I have heard about the plugs, it's whole inlet off isn't it?
  8. Hello everybody, as a few of you know from my recent string of noob questions, I am a new owner of a supra n/a manual Anyway when I give it some and get to 5000 revs the car seems to launch itself even more (like hondas vtec) Just wondering if this is standard on n/a supras Also while on the matter, when I do hit 5k it makes a sort of whistly/screeching sound (it doesn't sound bad or anything). Just thought someone might have experienced the same Cheers guys
  9. Whifbitz quoted 5.7k if I remember correctly.. and yes I totally agree that the amount you put in a na you will never get back, would absolutely love a TT6 but 12k atm isn't an option for me.. An auto tt would be fast and fun but previously to the na supra I had a glanza turbo auto And although I tuned it up and it was silly quick, I never really enjoyed the auto aspect of it, after that I purchased a glanza turbo manual and although it wasn't as fast I had much more fun In it Can I ask a noob question.. what is BPU? also I've heard about people putting flappy paddles in their auto supras ?? Is it any good and what sort of price range I it?? Thanks guys
  10. So my options.. 1: na-t @ 10k 2: just get a TT6 for 12k+ 3: buy a TT auto and get a r154 conversion for it (seen an auto to r154 kit for 1.8k) 3 seems cheapest (6k for the car plus 1.8 and labour) Anyone do or have any idea who could do a r154 conversion + what would be needed for it on top of this list?? What's included: • Gearbox - Early shifter type (see our shop for custom remote shifters) • JZ Bellhousing - Genuine Toyota (Not Thai copy) • Gear Stick / Shifter (includes Marlin Crawler Shifter Bush and Socket) • ACT Extreme Clutch (may need new Friction Plate soon) • Evolution Lightweight Flywheel with Brand New Core • Slave Cylinder • Release Hub • Clutch Folk and Pivot • Front Piece of Prop Shaft Thanks
  11. Bare in mind I could buy a TT6 for 10k+ (and I haven't got that sort of cash spare) so the na-t option sounds abit silly - - - Updated - - - Unless any of you guys no somewhere that will do it cheaper
  12. Hello everyone Basically 2 months ago I purchased my 1st supra n/a manual... now I love the car but already I'm abit bored of its limited power and I'm trying to decide which would be my best cost effective option next. 1: I pay to get mine turbo'd (have been quoted 5.5k drive in drive out with uprated clutch, ecu and 370 ish bhp) 2: I sell my n/a for 4-5k, buy a TT auto for 6 ish k and get it converted to manual r154 (not sure on prices to do this?) 3: I keep the n/a and get a tt transplant with r154 box (v160 is 2 expensive) Now I'm abit stuck on the best most cost effective option, so if anyone who has had the same dilemma could advise me that would be perfect Thanks very much guys n gals
  13. Perfect cheers lads Also looking to paint the insides black at the same time?? My mate did his by sticking them in the oven the soften the glue However I see alot of black around the outside of the light.. has anyone painted the inside of their lights??
  14. Heloooo guys and girls As I'm sure many of you have experienced the joys of clouded yellow headlights.. my question to you guys is what's the best option to get them back to new? I have bought some g3 compound polish and wondering if it is wise to use this on the headlights? Any help much appreciated Thanks
  15. So I doubt its a wheel bearing, I'm thinking box related, but what it is I have no idea.. has anyone else experienced some whine when letting off harshly
  16. I'd say it's coming from the front, bit hard to tell though, it's fine when I drive normally, it only happens occasionally when I accelerate hard in 1st then let off quick (as I'm decelerating I can hear it) and as the engine speed slows so does the whine :/
  17. Hello everyone, last night I purchased my 1st supra na manual.. however I have just noticed when I let off at higher speeds in 1st gear it makes a whining noise, not all the time though?? Any one shed some light.. many thanks
  18. Does this look bad, the seller said it's only the petrol tank cover but my mechanic reckons it's the boot floor?? Any help much appreciated
  19. Hi everyone, I've just joined and I'm on the hunt for a supra, hopefully sooner rather then later can't wait
