Yep exactly, never in my 8 years of ownership have i seen anyone put a wanted ad for a door handle It's like toyota said "what's a part that not a single supra owner will ever need to replace, hmm could sell brake boosters and door handles"
-
All it is is a marketing thing so they don't look bad against nissan, absolutely no intention of keeping them on the road
-
Look forward to seeing this painted up!
-
Nice, shame the paints peeling, you getting it resprayed?
-
You won't find 58372 anywhere, we searched high and low across the world when doing my underside resto for it and not a single one is available, best bet is getting your current ones refurbished

Welcome, post some pics of the new motor

Looks much better now, good work!

Lovely stuff. I've gotta say the ridox bumper is 100x nicer then the bomex, much cleaner and smoother looking imo. Good luck with it, look foward to seeing it painted up!

Yep he doesn't do things by half's, when you look at the competition it just doesn't compare. I had quotes from maybe half a dozen companies and when you ask them how they'd go about it you can tell who is a slap dash man and who really knows what they're doing, Paul was the only guy who gave me the confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing. Paul used to build formula 1 engines before he started his own shop, so you know his attention to detail is second to none! Below I've attached a few photos of the work of the "competition" I won't name any of them as its unfair but you get the gist of it. To some people the work below is perfect, to me not so much...

Above is just a tiny fraction of all the re zinced parts, a properly time consuming job!
-
Cheers I'm not doing it, pcheshire automotive is. Its well above my skill set haha It's all been taken apart, blasted and then all little parts have been zinced, there's 3 different colours of zinc used throughout the engine resto just as it was when it left the factory

Thanks, the lettering and logo are liquid chrome paint pens, different sizes nibs for the varying sizes of fonts
