  3. I ended up taking them apart last night, what a job that was. I have emailed noz to see if he he has facelift rings available and will give them a refurb once they arrive
  4. I spoke with a guy from america last year about selling mine, he offered me a good price and said he would be back in contact at the end of 2017. however finding a replacement for the supra would be extremely hard unless it was a GTR, and id need a substantial offer to replace it with a GTR. You never know though.. we might be able to demand a decent premium for stock cars in less then a year.. which is exciting
  5. Morning guys, ive got a set of facelifts but the chrome rings have started flaking, i seem to remember a member offering a refurb service. Has anyone got any idea who it was? Many thanks

  10. Just got new tyres all round and i want to fit spacers, 20mm spacers to be precise, this will take me to an et30, which i think would fill the arches more and look alot better.. my arches are standard and from my calculations il just get away with it... So anyone here got 9.5j et30 rim with standard arches running 255 tyre? Thanks
  11. Good old flea bay Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112276602378 Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182370643340 £450 delivered and all 3 garages near me said between £50-£60 to fit them.. so yes £500 fitted for premium tyres is pretty good in my eyes Even better reviews for dry grip then michelin pilot sports etc.. the wet is not as good but how hard do you really want to push your car in the rain. Cant wait to try them out now
  12. Shop around and you can find a set of 4 for around £450.. which is very good i think
  13. Im going for.. YOKOHAMA ADVAN AD08'r standard fitment and they have steel side walls and according to reviews have an amazing level of grip and very good turn in and handling in the dry which is perfect for me as its only a weekend toy and it doesnt come out in the rain.. once they have arrived and are on i shall report back and let you guys know if they are any good
  14. Aha yeh but he only ordered 2 and i want 4 new tyres, so id have to get more imported anyway
  15. Yer good idea but would cost alot to ship + import taxes
  16. Bridgestone S02 rears Bridgestone RE002 fronts They dont match.. which is my pet hate lol
  17. Cant even get michelin pilot sports/sport 3/sport 4 or super sports in a 255 40 17 .. the only ones are pilot sports 2 (which are no longer in production).. any one recommend any other tyres? 235 45 17 isnt a problem as it seems to be a common size but 255/265/275 40 17 isnt very popular? Really not sure what to go for as semi slicks are not what i really need :/
  18. I know what you mean and i have thought about this, however i imagine in just fast road driving i wouldnt get upto the speeds where understeer would make an appearance (eg: im not going around turns/roundabouts at 60mph) it is infact the rear end that goes 1st if im foot down round a corner. I imagine the factory set up is good for a standard 280bhp car but i feel now that im bpu the extra little bit of width would help the back keep the extra ponies down. This is just my logical explanation though.. what do you think?
