  1. Well thats good for me then.. 64mm it is
  2. Only a few more days and i will be able to get the plates made up.. Decisions decisions.. with the pods or without.. hmm its a tricky one Either way im chuffed with the plate.. i think its going to look awesome Just out of interest, who got TRD 2J???
  3. Yes i have mentioned it before, all was well in the end though because i got an absolute beauty after that
  4. I dont want to illegally space it.. just put slightly smaller characters on the front. I believe (correct me if im wrong) that a japanese import can legally have 64mm characters on the front instead of the uk legal 79mm?
  5. Gearbox and ecu problems.. probably loaded with other little problems also
  6. Hi guys.. so basically ive recently purchased a new plate and im trying to get custom plates knocked up. Every site i have been on lets me edit plates but doesnt let me change the standard font size (i want 64mm letters instead of standard 79mm on the front) so just wondering if anyone knows of any plate makers that will change the font size? Thanks
  7. So basically just over a year ago i had a na5.. i was hunting for a TT and came accross that one.. i messaged the guy who at the time didnt own the car and was acting as a middle man for the 75 year old gent who didnt want the hassle of potential buyers coming to the door.. long story short i was promised that i had first refusal on the car and had even offered £1k deposit, he assured me the car was mine (after he had sorted the blown ecu out) and that id no need to give a deposit.. he then started giving me dates saying it was just about ready to be sold. I then wrote up an ad for my na5 and sold it within a couple of weeks. I contacted jay and said i have it all in cash just let me know when i can collect.. nothing for weeks.. i contacted again and got a shit excuse something along the lines of "oh really sorry the old guys given it to his son now" .. and then 4 or 5 months later i see that jay has put it up for sale himself.. turns out a few other member of the forum had the exact same promises to them also.. so like i say the guy's a total time wasting twat
  8. The guys a total time waster and really f##ked me over when i was going to buy this just over a year ago
  9. Haha - - - Updated - - - Haha
  10. A few of us are meeting in central bedford @ 7am if anyone wants to join ???
  11. Not necessarily.. i just bought a plate that starts with SUP but it was a dateless plate.. so i can use it on my 1993
  12. Ha ive seen that one before.. looks good but a shame it cant go on a supra.. so defo fingers crossed that the new car is called a supra and you will make an absolute fortune.. how much did it cost if you dont mind me asking?
  13. I think his supra would have been cool 15 years ago when big bodykits, massive wings and massive stickers were all the rage, however he has (in my eyes) absolutely ruined a nice supra. Each to their own though.. atleast he hasn't slammed it to the floor with wheels at 45 degrees and cut springs.. those people need to be rounded up and shot lol
  14. No they extend the time by half hour everytime someone puts a last minute bid in.. its so people cant nab it at the last minute
  15. Ha yer i know.. but ive been waiting for it to be released since November 16.. so as much as its going to cost i have wanted it for agesss lol
  16. Will all 41 supra's be on the stand? Thats gotta be the biggest supra gathering il have ever seen.. imagine if we all sorted ourselves into colour coordinated rows, that would be pretty cool
  17. My god that must of taken some serious cash to fix it.. well done for sticking through it though
  18. My god this is gorgeous.. would be absolutely perfect with an r154 or v16#
