  1. How bad are the problems you state? Maybe put a list of the things you have found and me and other members can try our best to give advice. I dont trust garages as they are only there to flip profits. why did you not hpi check the car when you purchased it? I wouldn't personally swap being as the mileage is very high
  2. Hi guys, I'm looking for a set of ccw classics. I know I could get them imported but that's a big wedge of cash that I dont wish to part with lol Anyone have a set that they are interested in selling? Thanks, Grant
  3. I vouch for what frank says, brilliant set up.. unrivalled unless you want to spend big money in my eyes. Also check what bignum is running, I'm sure it was something similar (he is the fastest round the nurburgring in a supra)
  4. What are they doing to the supra? I was contacted last month saying some footage of my car that was shot in the summer for a different feature might be used by goblin works in the coming months. But that's all I heard
  5. I went last year, I was the only mk4 supra there.. be nice to see a few this year
  6. I hit a deer in my golf a few years ago, squashed the bumper, popped both fog inserts out and took my number plate off, luckily for me it went under the car and not over the windscreen, made the car bounce something chronic, so glad it wasnt my supra. Deer died instantly on the duel carriageway
  7. Fair play, I suppose if you have had it for 22 years then it is a massive part of your life and I can see why you wouldn't.
  8. I know the sentiment side of it but on the other hand you could easily sell the range rover for 30k, buy another na-t/tt auto for 15k, plunge remaining cash into it and make it something super special, I mean 30k would get you a very clean tt6, possibly even a uk tt6. Question you have to ask yourself is.. if a forum member offered you a uk tt6 in vgc for a straight swap for your na5-t, would you take it?
  9. Yer its true, they wont sell for that, it took me a month or more to sell my set of 18" LM's and I had them up for £1200

  13. Interesting, so it can go on anything after 1970 then. I was unaware of its date as it wasnt released by dvla until a few years ago at which point I bought it, the supra is the 1st car the plate has been on.
  14. Depends if it's a dateless plate, I put my SUP 2J plate on my 93 supra because its dateless. Might work the same for you. Good luck
  15. Cheers lads will do this asap
  16. Hi guys Was driving the supra a few weeks ago and I got an engine error code flash up, I turned the car off and back on and it was gone, it came back on the next time I drove it after a few miles driving but I haven't had a chance to take it in and get the code read. Then I parked it up for 15 mins and come back and it wouldnt start, the battery is indicating it needs charging yet is only 5 months old and I've only done around 300-400 miles on the new battery. I'm pretty sure my alternator is done and dusted but just wanted to check if anyone has had a similar experience which proved to not be an alternator? Thanks, Grant
  17. I'd say 16k-22k depending on condition.. black much more desirable then silver imo. if it was completely stock and mint I'd say 22k People who value and advertise tt autos for 25k and tt6 for 35k are dreamers, they almost never sell at them prices, just trawl through the selling sites and come back a month later, all the dreamers cars are still on there, unless of course it's in exceptional condition. Nice car though
  18. I'd say 18-20k, looks clean and original and that's what people want now they have reached these price levels because you can go faster for less in different cheaper cars these days. So I think no longer is the mk4 supra aimed at a market looking for the fastest vehicle for the cheapest money, it's now aimed at enthusiasts who either love the brand/vehicle or see it as an investment, hence why you see so many modded ones taking a while to sell.
  19. 22k imo is very top end for a tt auto.. theres an erotop tt auto for 17k and some clean ones for cheaper. 22k is oem/stock low mileage money imo and I'd defo not pay 22k for it If it was me id say its worth 16-17k A well known trader sold a low ish mileage stock manual tt, all original and very clean for 24k a few months ago
  20. I thought that myself, it's a shame this forums dieing out as I've used it for a quite a few years now, not aslong as you though. It's been absolutely invaluable but I think fb has taken over these days. It's a shame really as this had much more of a community feel then fb ever will
