  1. Imo all that car needed was a respray and a tune up.. the body kit is not to my taste tbh, 10 year old me would have loved that in 2001 though lol But they have to make it outrageous because otherwise the show would be abit boring
  2. I would suggest browsing selling websites once out there, use a translator app/google to translate and converse with potential sellers and possibly utilize a postal service out there to send heavy items back without the taxes added ontop
  3. Yanoo you could probably win these competitions without having to ask everyone to vote for you everytime, ya cars pretty mint, have faith in it
  4. Ah, mine showed.. The cars auction grading A picture of the auction sheet The odometer history from 1st registration (partial) Where the car lived its life Its history in relation to crashes And what auction in japan it was sold through Ntb for £25
  5. Kolb, go home, you're drunk
  6. Yes it's been running slowly on mine for a few days now
  7. Car vx is pretty good, it shows everything and is only £25 Much better then £200 one imo It includes auction photos, the auction sheet, previous owners and mileage and where it's lived its life, also shows abit more info Very good bit of kit
  8. When I first got into supras 6 years ago and eventually joined the forum the sense of being in a club, the wealth of information available and the willingness of guys that would help you out was great. I remember once needing a front wing and a lad on here said he had one and wanted something like £50, I was very happy with that and went to get it, we got chatting and he said "tell you what mate just take the wing I dont want any money" I couldnt believe it and asked him numerous times if he was sure, he said yes and then went off and grabbed the other wing and 2 mint doors and said you can have it all if you want it mate. What a top guy, naturally I gave the spare wing away and sold the doors for something silly for like £50 Over the years if I ever sell anything I always stick to the forum, its helped me out many times It's the only place I'd sell my supra as you know (or hope) it would go to a person who would cherish it
  9. Very nice car, good luck with the business venture
  10. Put up a what's it worth thread, I'm sure everyone will give their opinion
  11. Yer I'd say stick to here 1st, all I've ever got on ebay is things like the below example... . *Lists 4 standard supra 17 alloys for £400* Potential buyer: "Il give you £100 as 2 tyres has below 7mm of tread?" Utter time wasters 80% of the time
  12. Well I didnt win it, 15k for a crashed supra with a w58.. no thanks lol
  13. Lol na nobody knows where it is, I've been bidding on it myself which is why when I see the thread I was like nooooo, thankfully the OP didnt post a link haha
  14. Looks very repairable to me.. you just have to wonder if its 6 speed and advertised wrong or if it was crashed and the owner removed the v160 and stuck a w58 in there so the insurance would take it
  15. If I were you I'd check the engine for damage aka the car losing all of its oil.. look closely at the engine bay pic and you can see someone has re filled it poorly and theres oil all around the oil fill cap.
  16. I shall give fosta a message in abit, thanks And yes I've seen they are around 6.5k but with fitting and extra parts such as pedals etc I believe I was previously quoted around the 10k mark for a drive in drive out. Anyone got any feedback on the bmw conversion? Cheers for the replys guys
  17. Hi guys I've reached a point where I've had supras for several years and I'm just abit bored I suppose. Its a 1993 full BPU auto around 380-400hp but my eyes keep wondering to other things such as an r8, gtr, 996 turbo, ariel atom or just something crazy like a turbo ls swapped rx7 or 2jz swapped 240z/260z sort of thing.. so I'm wondering about the supra dct 7 speed/f80 conversion? I've seen videos on youtube but theres hardly any videos and I wanna know how it drives in general? Anyone got one installed and care to share their experiences? Also the t56 magnum 6 speed manual conversion? Any one had one done? How is it? I believe the prices of the f80, t56 conversions cost around 10k each From a full BPU car, is this about right? I'm basically just weighing up options, deep down I'd love to keep the supra and spice it up abit, basically something like a quick spooling turbo @ 600hp ish and f80 conversion would be super cool, would probably sink upto 16k maximum into the project. So if you have any ideas/experiences with said conversions then please share thanks Grant
  18. Download justpark app, I use it when I go on holiday and you can see where you will be parking and book in advance. I paid £40 for a weeks parking in a secure hotel car park which was located just outside the airport, 5 minute walk to departures.

    To all baldies

I used to use clippers/shavers, tried loads but there was always stubble, however good the product said it was. now I just use a razor and shave my head 2/3 times a week. Then you have the problem of a shiny head (some people like it, I hate it) There are numerous products out there that claim to get rid of that shiny head but they all cost a pretty penny, I tried alot and now I use a thing called diatomaceous earth, it's a food supplement among other things but it has the qualitys of talc, its dirt cheap and will remove the shine, little puff of that and your good to go lol
  20. Il be going too.. il start a list and add your name copy and paste if you are coming, will be good to have a few of us there 1. Raddys
  21. Fairly strict but not ridiculous, if your cars leaking any oil it's a no. You also have to be able to fit 2 suitcases in the car, the supra passes this test lol and obviously anything dangerous will not pass, like dodgy brakes or illegal tyres. Last year was a series of slalom tests, braking tests, acceleration tests and a couple of sighting laps around silverstone. At the end the scores are all added together (you get points deducted for mistakes too) and the top 3 win trophies. They put on refreshments too. Everyone else gets a free toyota hat and a metal tankard with your name and the event engraved in the front. Last year there was everything from an old battered yaris and a big toyota people carrier to my supra and some yaris grnm's All in all it was a really good day out as the actual pomeroy cup race (a race in which vintage cars of different years compete, I'm talking 1920s type of cars) was going on in the back round so if your passengers or yourself ever get bored you can go and watch that too
