Got ya Unfortunately I don't have a life size one for sale but this little kyosho 1,18 model is for sale, very very rare early scale model of the legendary mk4 supra, super detailed throughout. These are on ebay for £250+ which imo is a silly price so for the forum guys n gals il let you have it for £150 posted. Only issue is a slightly loose front wheel but this is only an issue if you want to run it round your living room floor making broom broom noises once in a display you would never know £150 posted (signed for) Note: only the black one is for sale Have a good weekend

Thats actually the best sleeper I've ever seen

Yes my old tanabe had exactly this, it was connected up to a boost line so when I hit a certain level of boost it would open up making it straight pipe

1996 Aerotop TT Auto RSP new Mot ready for spring! New pictures
raddys replied to Shane34's topic in Supra Classifieds
Beautiful car but ric is right, top dollar is being paid for stock, vin matching cars, not saying its not been done to a very high standard but at the end of the day it's collectors paying the big bucks for these now and they want cars that left the factory as they were. 35k seems reasonable though -
Now that's a sleeper, very very cool

Nice, always loved these

Cheers mate

Ah yes I've never said yes so much in my life Well the car definitely feels alot tighter and smoother, all new fluids and seals everywhere combined with the new smic feels like it pulls harder, changes smoother and with the new springs and shocks it corners better although the eibach springs are quite hard and personally I don't really like how low it sits on the front but that's a job for next year if I do change them for something a little higher. Regarding the heat shield, I wanted it all as oem as possible, I'm actually missing the rear shield above the back box as I couldn't find one anywhere and mine was beyond saving, originally I had planned to get an oem exhaust and mod it so it was free flowing but finding one was impossible so I started looking for exhausts, however there's nothing aftermarket that is close to oem. It had a tanabe touring medallion on it before which was as close to oem but it was just to quiet for me and I wanted abit of grunt, hence I ended up with the hks carbon ti, probably as far from oem as possible lol

Definitely worth doing ASAP really due to parts going out of production, if you're going to do a project like this and you have a unlimited time frame then it's quite fun making a list and collecting every bit you need then taking a whole load of parts and the car to be done and watching the magic unfold as its all assembled
-
Ah never mind then
-
I spent 15k but I did spend abit on things like exhaust and intercooler etc. Realistically it depends on the condition of the car to start with and how far you go when asked "what about this bit?" You could spend less but you could spend alot more too

Yep he's done an amazing job on it it actually just run out of mot so will be taking it next week, cant wait to see his face haha

never realised it had so much of a crinkle effect, very interesting to see the original finish

Be interested to see what a stock one looks like, got a decent pic?
-
I wish you good luck, nothing better then fresh new wheels on the car
-
Thanks

I looked everywhere to see what colour code the wheels were from factory but I couldn't find it, so I took them to be powdercoated and asked that they match it as best they can, I don't think they are 100% the same shade but the wheels were about 26 years old so with the amount of brake dust they've seen who knows what the original silver looked like. You can't go far wrong though, be interested to see if you find the original code

I'm back, I've been meaning to post the progress pics of the underside for months now but have been so busy, anyway there's a massive album but il post the important ones so you can see whats happened to the underside of the car ... It's basically been stripped back, bent sills repaired, the shell itself is in very good condition but the parts had alot of surface rust, any old loose underseal was then removed, bare areas primed and coated in gravitex upol. Now obviously in that paragraph I make it sounds like it's a 5 minute job, it really isn't, there a million more photos and things that pop up when dealing with a project like this. originally I set myself a budget of £5k, but once you get started you can't have 1 clean bit next to a dirty bit so you get that dirty bit done too and then l, we'll you've guessed it, you can throw your 5k budget down the drain lol Anyway all the parts were either refurbed where they were discontinued or hard to get hold of or been replaced for new oem, I didn't want hard plastic bushes and wanted to feel what it would have felt like from factory (with a few tweaks) so its pretty much all oem under there bar a few mods. The engine had virtually all new waterway hoses and various seals replaced all over it as 28 year old rubbers aren't the greatest things at holding that oil back lol Also a new belt and damper and a few other bits under the hood to get it running smooth as you like. Once everything had come back from powdercoaters and various bits such as gearbox, steering rack and diff had been refurbished and reassembled it was time to put it all back together, once down its had every new fluid under the sun, all fuchs and toyota fluids used. Spec is Everything new or refurbed Bilstein shocks and eibach springs Hks carbon ti exhaust Double de cat Chris wilson SMIC Chris wilson pads So there you have it, condensed down from probably 1000 photos to 150 odd photos and a 5 minute read, the reality was over 200 hours of labour into this, loads of bits you don't see and it's all down to Paul cheshire of PCheshire Automotive, Paul is a perfectionist, the level of service and help he provided is unbeatable, he even kept me up to date with pictures every day he worked on it, top lad, You'll find no one more passionate about what he does then Paul and I couldn't recommend him high enough to do work to a very high standard on any of your cars! Anyways enough of my waffle, enjoy the pics!!!

Just had a notification for a little badge, a nice little addition to the forum but I'm just wondering why I've only got a newbie rank when I've been a member since 2015? Also what are the requirements to achieve some of the other badges? Cheers, Grant
