  1. Gaskets received - thanks.
  2. If your core is mounted a long way forward then maybe it could be an issue......mine is probably 60-70mm back from the crash bar so it is relatively easy to duct from the underside of the crash bar to the top of the core in a slick, smooth curving fashion. Rubber matting, expanding foam and aluminium sheet all serve a purpose in my ducting in one way or another.
  3. Mine is ducted and 100% sealed - crash bar still in place with stock bumper. It can be done but just takes a bit of time for an OEM look.
  4. What was the end result on the mysterious offsets?
  5. What offsets are those monsters and how does it handle?
  6. I have had 4300, 5000 and 6000k bulbs. I think you have to take the scales with a pinch of salt and only make comparisons between Kelvin ratings from the same seller.........my 6000K are the brightest white I have ever had on the car.....no particular blue tint from any angle, just extremely bright white.
  7. Good - glad it arrived safely.
  8. And I'm interested in the heat shield.....
  9. Is the drivers door card in good condition? If not, what about just the door handle (the part you actually grab to pull the door shut from the inside). Cheers Dan
  10. Charlie - do you have a photo of how/where the heatshield is located please? (What are you going for now?)
  11. Hi Stuart - got your pm. Apparently I should finally have money in my bank today for mine but it's not there yet. If there's no sign tomorrow then you can have it. Cheers Dan
  12. Are any of these resistor packs any good to you: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=520814
  13. I am interested but need to check the OD of my Nur Spec and my HKS decat pipe and also check if I can fit the bloody thing in first.... What's the max OD?
  14. I looked into this a long time ago Phil as I was working on cast iron heads and wanted to do all I could to maximise ignition timing, ward off det and keep as much load out of the cooling system as possible. I ended up not being 100% confident in ceramic coating in the chamber itself or the piston top (although other people were doing it) and I could only justify exhaust port coating (to help the coolant system). It wasn't that expensive and something like £45 per port springs to mind. I pretty sure I was speaking to Poeton in Gloucester at the time as they are local to me but this was over 10 years ago. I think the Apticote 420D is/was used for heat reflective purposes in the chamber. Apticote 200 or 200M is/was used on skirts for friction purposes. I hope that is of some use to you....I do have some printed info tucked away somewhere and if I can find it I'll scan it and post it up.
  15. That'll be an interesting drive! What exactly would you do to get these settings right Ryan?
  16. Wez - I'm kind of interested but am some way from starting a new engine so please don't count on me. Do you know if the compression height will be the same as the stock pistons and also will the gudgeon pin diameter be the same as stock?
  17. Looks like these are back up for sale - no money received from the buyer.
  18. Have you had any ceramic coating done in the head Phil?
  19. Can you get away with 650's? Paul, ref your pm and the 800's, i can wait a week or so - that's fine. Please let me know when they are in
  20. I have one for sale as well as a complete fully wired fields harness. I'm not selling it for peanuts....probably about £380 for the complete EMU (with all harnesses including an AFR input harness and the additional injector harness) and another £115 if you want it with the fields harness all ready to drop straight in. pm me if you are interested and I'll get some photos put up (although I am away until Monday night on holiday as of about midday today). The fields harness is ready to accept a RLTC unit as well (not sure if that is of any interest to you). I have a RLTC unit for sale too (with launch).
