  1. This place Kev..... http://www.devilsride.com/index.html I called in the other day and they were very professional, helpful and friendly. Great work on show as well.
  2. Ah...it must be the ride height playing tricks on the photo then....makes sense. I was contemplating some arch rolling at the rear to gain clearance but have decided to go for cutting instead to lessen the risk of body damage. What kind of alignment settings will you be going for?
  3. Nice finish on the paintwork! Did you have to do anything to the arches to run that rear setup Jamie? Do you ever get any tyre rubbing on fast B road adventures? Also - is it just the photo angle or is there something weird going on with the front ride height or tyre width - the tyre almost looks like it is sticking out too far?
  4. That was me - sorry, I didn't see you. Thanks for the comment on the wheels
  5. Here's the page from the manual: http://mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/general_maintenance/mo14.jpg Ref the rear subframe bolts: There is a slight contradiction in the manual as the diagram shows a different torque value to the text
  6. Money sent for the pair of new exhaust manifold gaskets (17173-46040 and 17198-46010). Cheers Dan
  7. Thanks for the replies fellas, it certainly sounds like the 275 on a 9.5" rim is pretty common, can the same be said for a 245 on an 8.5" rim? The ref to grip...I was hoping the 40 profile of a 265 would help with rear end grip a little by giving that little bit more sidewall that can deflect. However, the 265 40 on the rear, doesn't sound that popular a choice so is hard to get any feedback
  8. Boxed up, money received, should be posted tomorrow.

  10. I know there have been an awful lot of threads on the forum about tyre sizes but not much that I could find on a 265 40 18 running on a 9.5" rear rim. I have always run a 9" front rim with 245 40 18 and a 10" rear rim with 275 35 18 with F1 GSD3's. I have now acquired a set of 8.5" front wheels and 9.5" rear wheels and am looking for tyres to suit. These tyres need to be suitable for year round driving as they will be going on this 2nd set of wheels which may also be used on a similar vehicle. On the Supra, I'm weighing up using my 245 and 275 tyres as a temporary thing or buying some Eagle F1 Asymmetrics in a 235 and 265 to suit the narrower wheels. Also, does anybody actually run 245 40's on an 8.5" rim or 275 35's on a 9.5" rim? This thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=174654&highlight=tyres+water+265 pointed out some apparently clear benefits of a 265 40 on the rear wheel but does anyone else have any experience of this size vs a 275 35 or a 265 35? Cheers Dan
  11. Ah I see.... I've made all mine is the past to be a very light press fit (almost transitional) which means you cannot just take the website stated "72.6mm" or "70.5mm" as you'll probably still have some play in there. I'm sorry I can't help specifically with the Advans though fellas - I've never measured one.
  12. I can't see any pics - have they been removed? (BTW....I am interested in a facelift side/indicator combo)
  13. Any really good door cards Keron?
  14. I maybe after a cam sensor and coolant if they are still available for sensible money. ps I haven't received an email about the Solaris yet.
  15. Sold to you my friend, pending payment
  16. Would prices differ much if that qty crept from 3 to 5 Chris?
  17. Looks like this is back for sale again due to timewasting. £458 including insured UK delivery or £450 cash on collection.
  18. I'm 99% certain it's sold - I'm just waiting for the money to appear.
  19. I'm interested in the boost solenoid as long as Ryan is happy with an AEM one.
