  1. First time I've seen this thread....Cracking looking motor - nice work. You don't have your old door cards left over do you?
  2. thanks for the offer of doing mine ryan but the car's going to be too far away to make that practical. I hadn't seen the reply before i typed mine!
  3. bummer. My car is going to southampton today for some work i'm not able to do. I was hoping to pick this up on the way and take it down.
  4. Thank you. Not a part of the car I have played around with much. Ryan - do you do a cheaper rate on an exchange basis? And, could I get this from you late tomorrow morning maybe?
  5. So if the cam belt was being changed anyway.....it becomes a quick job?
  6. How easy is this to swap out if the crank pulley is being changed?
  7. I have a two bolt 3" flange in mild steel if that is useful for you? £10+postage
  8. I don't suppose you have a spare top mount rail do you Phil?
  9. I'm replacing all my clutch actuation parts (fork, hub, snap rings, bearings, wave spring etc) very soon when I fit my RPS clutch. I have no reason to believe the existing stuff is worn but wanted no ambiguity regarding the RPS clutch being affected by old parts. If you're still looking when I fit it all I'll give you a shout (should be within next 10 days).
  10. Homer - mine were the same as yours and there was no way I could free them (and then trust the amount of alloy thread left) as the corrosion was too bad. I bought a full set of spring seats and locking rings from Mr Whiffin and they weren't THAT expensive - saved time and hassle and made the full geo setup much easier. I'd get some ordered asap if it were me.
  11. Nice comp housing choice - same as mine (and SimonB as well I think). What was the reason for you 0.81 on the exhaust as opposed to a 0.68? I have both and am going to start with the 0.68 and see how it feels, it may be the cast manifold will allow me to bump up to the 0.81 with similar sppol to a 0.68 on a tubular....time will tell!
  12. Does it fit the small J Spec battery terminals?
  13. I'll take it mate. Edit: Could I fit a (custom made) larger butterfly back in there to seal it up completely? Did you open the bore of the aluminium or shrink the size of the butterfly?
  14. Is it about 6mm thick? I'll take it Phil if Rob hasn't said he wants it yet. I was just about to order one off Ebay.
  15. Just as I finish piecing together the last part of my turbo kit!!! Good luck with the sale.
  16. You may have already thought of this but a momentary ignition failure could show up as a lean condition on the AFR gauge due to unignited fuel in the exhaust gases.....
  17. Anyone got the bit of wiring that connects the pump to the connector block at the top? This is for a facelift Jap spec but believe it is the same for prefacelift as well. Cheers Dan
  18. I'll take the lot if you still have them. pm me how you want paying. Cheers Dan
  19. Knackered bearing (and potentially knackered hub and potentially knackered spline on driveshaft).
  20. Hey SImon - glad to see it's all shaped up nicely! Out of interest, what was it you used on the exhaust manifold?
  21. Are the plans a secret chaps? A pure drag monster?
