  1. One month later and I'd have been all for it!

  3. Did you buy too many or change your mind about fitting them?
  4. Does anyone know why floating assemblies that use the McLaren anti rattle shim typically only have them on alternate fixing points? Cheers Dan
  5. I have a T67DBB P trim if you want to stick with that and not do any remapping. PM me if you're interested in some sort of trade. I plan to be fitting it in about 5 weeks but otherwise it's sat wrapped up in the box it came in from KylesTT. Cheers Dan
  6. Yes - resistor pack should be removed when fitted a dedicated flyback circuit like a peak/hold driver system. Does this PH driver have any software adjustment capability? In some ways the resistor pack is a bit of a crutch to make up for a lack of PH driver and was typical practice a decade or more ago for low imp injectors. It works fine though. However, the PH driver should help get those big injectors open a little faster
  7. Thread revival.... Does anyone know whether either Polyolefin or Fluoropolymer heat shrink is ok to use in a petrol tank environment or does it have to be a Viton alternative?
  8. OK Ed - I have some pics of the hubs that got swapped out when my wheel bearings were changed. Do you want me to email them to you? Just to be 100% clear - these are from a 1996 Facelift non vvti Manual RZ Twin Turbo. (They still have part of the inner bearing race and the outer seal on them - I told the guy swapping them just to pull them out and fit all the new stuff so he didn't bother faffing around when not required).
  9. OK cheers guys - I guess it's time to start drilling then. Are we talking something tiny like an M2 tap on your ones?
  10. Ok fellas, Those of you who have welded/threaded in larger cam breather bits and hoses.....what have you done about making sure the inside of the cam covers is meticulously clean once you've finished? Do you drill out the rivets holding the baffles in, clean everything and then weld them back in? Cheers Dan
  11. OK - just wondered if you have a "pre-fitted" photo
  12. Are the rears fully floating too Paul? Any chance of a photo of the back of this one?
  13. I have some 6 speed 1996 hubs that I swapped out when doing my wheel bearings. They were bought and replaced as a matter of course - I don't think they were worn. I can send some decent photos if needed?
  14. Well done Daryl - good dedication mate. I bet you feel a million times better now mate.....with most things just a whole lot easier in general?
  15. Hi Pete, I just bought a Karcher K5.55M (I had to have some sort of cable and hose reel system as garage space is tight!) Could you please pm me details for bank transfer? Also - what's the usual delivery time?
  16. Join the club.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=187181
  17. Nobody? I guess i'll go take a browse on Supraforums and report back....
  18. I've been doing some reading up on the Brembo big brake kits and am curious if I've been fed some duff info... I've been told that the Brembo front monoblock kit can be fitted without upsetting the front/rear bias. The only way that is possible is if the kit actually offers no more braking torque than the stock UK setup....(the main advantages being fade resistance and weight savings). So in an effort to check this out I am after some specs on the Brembo kit if anyone has them: Front caliper piston sizes Front pad dimensions (although just the height would suffice) Exact disc diameter The same info for the rears would also be useful. Cheers Dan
  19. Do you think that one is a sensible purchase Pete? Is this the same place you bought yours?
  20. Does anyone have the short length of wiring that goes from the top of the pump hanger down to the pump? For a J spec please.
  21. I will have a used (approx 20,000miles and 3yrs) Walbro 342 for a J spec for sale in about 2-3 weeks. You can have it for £40 delivered if interested. I am changing to a Bosch 044 for my single turbo conversion. I also have a Greddy turbo timer but won't be removing that for at least a month.
  22. Hi Matt - what's the "pull handle" like on the door card? Has the trim part separated from the actual handle part where you fingers actually reach in or does it feel brand new?
  23. Thank you chaps - Phil, I had to laugh at the phone a friend comment!
  24. Does anybody know what the thread size is for these bush locations on the six speed please? These bolts go through the bushes and hold the fork mechanism to the box and I need to know the thread size to source some replacement shoulder bolts (I lost the ones that came with my kit from MVP!) Cheers Dan
  25. Does anybody have the following info on the UK brake setup please? Front caliper piston diameters Rear caliper piston diameters Front pad area Rear pad area Cheers Dan
