  1. Ok great - thanks, just pm'd you. You're not selling the bonnet as well are you?
  2. On behalf of my brother: He's very interested but would like to see lots of up close pictures of each wheel. If I pm you his email address can you send some photos? If you have some photos of them on the car (from a front or rear angle) I'll be able to get an idea of the offsets if the photos show the wheel position relative to the arch. Cheers Dan
  3. Are they definitely 9x19 and 10x19? That's pretty wide for 19's unless the offset is high. Are your rear arches trimmed/rolled? Have a look on the back of the spokes and that should tell you everything you need including the offset.
  4. Me too but Gloucester/Oxford/Bristol/Birmingham/S Wales for collection.
  5. Brad88 - what do you do with all the lights you buy? Are you in business refurbing them and selling them on?
  6. Doesn't mean they don't exist
  7. Anyone have any glass headlights for sale in almost any condition except smashed! Melted would be fine I would also consider some plastic ones for the right (cheap) price... Cheers Dan

    H.I.Ds - WOW

6000K for me and they are much brighter and whiter than the 4500K I had before....seems to just depend on the brand.
  9. Aha - that's different to what I'm after. I need the piece of loom that is inside the tank from and goes from "underside of hanger to pump" so I can modify it for my 044 install. Anyone?
  10. Hi John, I have never used any other crank pulleys other than Boostlogic or OEM. I have used OBX cam gears before and the quality was excellent - and I do mean excellent. This pulley you found is a single piece, non damped pulley (whereas the OEM, Boostlogic and ATI all have damping to help smooth out potentilly damaging harmonics in the crank). Unless you are looking for the absolute lightest rotating mass possible then I would stay away from this and stick with ATI or BL....or even the OEM one. Cheers Dan
  11. Ryan, I have the sensor with me (or at least in the car) most of the time so anytime you are a bit nearer to Cheltenham give me a shout and I can get it to you. I can't get over to Autotec at the mo as I'm extremely busy - sorry. It yours whenever you want it though.
  12. Cheeky buggers! Sorry fellas - I had a bit of bad news on Monday and not been online much since then so things stacked up! A close family member got a DVT after some surgery and it's been a busy few days with scans and injections and "do this"......"don't do that" from the docs. I never really appreciated the seriousness of a deep vein clot - phew.. Anyway, Wez - pm away! I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
  13. Nice and light then! Are they available separately if they get damaged or wear out? Do they work ok with the handbrake?
  14. Are those rear bells an aluminium alloy Paul or cast iron/steel?
  15. Bummer - nevermind Rob. Do you recall if the rear bells were aluminium or something a lot heavier like steel/cast iron?
  16. I will do my best to come along to spectate and take a few photos for people. Is parking free and plentiful?
  17. Cracking ecu - watch out for duff batches of fuel though as the ign timing is quite aggressive.
  18. This is the longest thread I've read in ages......nice to see everyone getting along so well! I don't see why a single wiper system cannot be made to work if the whole cowl area is being replaced as well. A single wipe centred in the middle with a simple rotary action wouldn't work at all well but a full linkage system sweeping up and across the screen should cover it. Big job. Personally I'd have no desire to see a single wiper conversion but if such a conversion worked well and hid the wiper(s) nicely out of site and looked neater and more modern than the existing setup then I think that would be a pretty good mod. For me the effort vs. reward balance is swinging way too far on the effort side though. Good luck with it.
  19. What sort of mix did you run Kev? I put 20mm of the pink coloured liquid foam in the bottle and then filled almost to the top with water. I hosed over and then foamed up the better half's car for a test run and left for maybe 10-15 mins till the foam really started to run off. After rinsing off with the PW, the snow foam didn't seem to have a massive effect and I still had to do a full workover with a sponge. The car wasn't filthy or covered in caked on crap so I'm wondering if somehow I got something wrong and wasn't getting the full benefit. Should I have applied the foam to the car when it was dry? Do people add anything else to the foam for max cleaning effect and minimal sponging?
  20. Those of you with the Brembo setup - is the rear bell aluminium or cast iron?
  21. OK cheers folks. Sounds like there's no real reason for or against having "alternate" or "every" fixing with an anti rattle shim. (Depending on the stiffness of the spring) I do see your point about too much spring limiting the float Paul - the main idea on axial float being to reduce the piston knock back so that makes sense - too stiff an assembly will mean more likely piston knock back. I'll keep this in mind. There may be a cost side to it as well - I think the McLaren anti rattle shims are about £4-5 each at trade price so there's some saving there.....make them a little stiffer and run on alternate fixings. Chris - I don't suppose you saw my recent post in the wanted section about sourcing AP and Alcon hardware did you? Are you able to?
