  1. Quite the opposite I'd imagine. That is a great idea but the trouble with that is the PHR street kit uses (or at least it used to) an "On centre" turbine housing on the turbo which also mates up to a 4bolt downpipe....it would be a bit of a PITA to buy a brand new kit and then have to modify the downpipe to fit a normal 3" V band turbo and also possible extend the oil drain line as the "on centre" mounting will be sitting a little lower (shorter drain than normal).
  2. I could do with a good centre console too, as above....do they come with the lid piece too?
  3. Just paypal'd the money for the dash parts mate, thanks.
  4. Top man. I'll take it. Are you guys ok to wrap it all and post it, you're miles from me so can't really swing by to collect.
  5. Nice info - thanks. That'll set a few cogs churning
  6. I am interested in the facelift dash bits mate. What sort of condition are they in? Any busted tabs and any scratches or flaking of the grey finish?
  7. Geo has a journal 6765 i think
  8. Interesting Could you give me a price for R888 in 315/35/17 and 255/35/18 please? I'd also be interested in a price for the same sizes in a Vredestein Sessanta - feel free to pm me. Thanks Dan
  9. Lovely I'm headed down the 17x11.5 rear route as well..... nice choice indeed especially with those 325's on there I'm only going for 315, probably R888. Would you be able to take a couple of measurements off them for me please if I send you a pic showing what to measure?
  10. Sorry Jay I didn't see this. My gauge was knackered and locked solid so no amount of vacuum would have budged it loose. I'll post up when I have the new transducer hooked up.
  11. Are Lee's 269's a particularly high lift? Interference? If so you'd better add in a billet tensioner bracket and a strong timing belt for a bit more peace of mind. That would probably limit things to about 550 though!
  12. I get a bit nervous about mine running just over 600 on the stock bottom end. I don't think I could comfortably venture into the 700 camp unless I had a spare long block and turbo waiting in the wings for its day to come.
  13. Anybody wanna buy my PS3 copy? Bought it then realized it's not really my kind of game.
  14. My two one way valves to the exhaust have been in place for something like 6000miles and 9 months and are still in good shape and working fine. I've now got a good pressure transducer feed into the Syvecs (currently moitoring exhaust manifold pressure) but I could easily swap that out for an accurate measure of my catch tank pressure once I get a bit of info from Ryan. I can't comment on actual vacuum levels at the mo other than to say if I take the plug off the tank at idle a playing card will easily stick to the face Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting the exhaust setup is best here. I don't have enough info to say for definite but it certainly seems to be working great for me at the moment. I will make a new thread when I get some vacuum (or maybe not vacuum) readings.
  15. Same here, except mine generally seems to go out the exhaust as mucho condensation Catch tank has never had more than a hint of oil residue in any trapped water.
  16. Anyone got any? Cheers Dan
  17. Right gotcha mate. When you said inner I was thinking you meant the inner bit of the body shell by the spring and damper. All makes sense now, thanks.
  18. Exactly what I am after and for the same reasons. That wouldn't be my choice either as I like a little more stability in the tyre but some tyres are very narrow for their stated size and people get away with a little plumpness. For example, I believe the R888 is very narrow compared to an Eagle F1 even though the sizes are the same. Thanks James, I'll bang your numbers into a few offset calculators to see how they compare. That 245 up front and a 9.5" will be helping your clearance massively though which is something I wouldn't have with the 255 although the 30 offset I'd have may make up for it. How do you roll inner rear arches and why do you need to with those offsets - surely the outer arch is the one that's gonna rub on your rears?
  19. That is a good point - I had looked at the fronts and rears individually and satisfied myself that the rolling radius is within limits of what people normally run on their Supras. However, I know that this combo is a little different and the rear rolling radius is bigger than the front which is the opposite to stock. I'm wondering if this may upset the ABS at all if you go past a certain allowable % of difference? I don't think so though as Jamie has run some huge rear rolling radius setups and I'm sure he'd have mentioned it. I'll run a few comparsions and post back shortly.
  20. What's your wheel width and offset Shane? There's only so much you can chop before you get to the welds and if that isn't enough then rolling can be a bit more tricky as you've removed some of the material already......would be handy to know how much room you need. Also, are you able to measure the actaul width of the tyre in two places for me please? I believe you have the 295/35/18 Sessantas and I'd be interested to know if they are a big tyre or a narrow tyre (Eagle F1's seem to be wide for their stated size and R888 seem to be a little narrower) 1) Across the tread on the outside of the tyre and 2) Across with widest point of the tyre, wherever that may be (depends on your wheel width)
  21. OK I have two more options to ask people about? Anyone got 255/35/18 with a 9.5x18 ET30 up front? (Jamie's is the closest I have seen with something like at ET23 which makes me think mine will be ok) Anyone got 315/35/17 with either 11.5x17 ET55 or ET57 at the rear? I think both will be ok with the arch clearance being a little better than my 275/35/18 ET30 but I'll be getting close to the spring on the inside.
  22. Thanks for the input mate, nice one That certainly sounds like an aggressive offset you've got up front! I'm looking at lots of options at the mo and the latest one I am trying to figure out is putting my 9.5x18's up front with their 30mm offset and a 255/35/18 tyre. It looks close but I think that it will clear ok....that frees up the rear for the wide ones! I'm just trying to convince myself the 30 offset up front will work out and then I'll bite the bullet and go buy some 255 tyres. Car is not much lower than stock at all, maybe 10mm I suppose.
