Is it more comfortable than the Recaro Jamie? I've never had a fixed back seat in the Supra (have Cobra Monacos in another track car though) so I'm a bit wary of them but but I do find the Recaro a little tight in the leg/pelvis area.
  3. Looks spot on mate. What wheels and tyres you running up front?
  4. What happened to the RPS Imi? I'm still running that and it's fine, did your's wear out eventually?
  5. Yep - total PITA that and annoys the hell out of me.

    Supra!

You still going to SRR on the 28th mate?
  7. I'm doing my best to get the car ready so I can come along. If I get it finished this week I will MOT it on Saturday but worst case it'll be Saturday 28th for the MOT so I'll be at SRR mid-afternoon. Hopefully someone will still be there
  8. They weren't at the time nope. Are they half price now for early ones?
  9. I think all facelifts have a softer elastomer material for the front upper and lower suspension arm bushes and I think the bush diameter for the lower arm is bigger for facelifts but I'll check that. The part numbers are different. When I replaced my arms I bought early ones for the extra bit oif stiffness.
  10. I think a lot of these things need splitting up into 1) Prefacelift 2) Facelift and 3) Facelift VVti as there are differences between all three and people always blend all facelifts into one group.
  11. Oh yeah - my facelift had a normal thickness rad, not the NA one.
  12. I don't know of any non VVTi cars that suffer with it - all the ones I have seen are VVti cars. I was wondering if that is the case or whether it's just a fluke related to the cars I have seen.
  13. Does anyone here have a facelift car with a "suspect" boot latch that is not a VVTi?
  14. Nice one thanks. That's exactly what I am planning to run upfront on a 9.5" rim with a 30 offset. I was a little concerend about them fitting but my arch rolling and your post have put my mind at ease a little. Do you ever get any rubbing?
  15. Jamie - you had GTRs front and GTR-Ds rear at one point I think didn't you? I remember asking about the 9.5" up front and seeing a pic of the car.
  16. Are they about level with the edge of the wheel JP? Striaght up, any bulge or any stretch? What are they like for traction?

  18. Gotcha - all makes perfect sense mate. With all that in mind I'd probably try to find an 11" rear to stick a nice fitting pair of 305/30/18 PS2s on and call it good.
  19. No gains compared to what though Scott? If you are looking for straight line traction you probably won't find the answer in a 315/30/18 road tyres stretched onto a 12" rim. You need more sidewall. If you're on a budget you might be better off trying a 275/40/17 as that'll get you the same sidewall as a 315/35/17 and you can stick that on a 9.5" or 10" wheel and space it out to where you want it.
  20. 335s if you've gone to the bother of a 12" rim. I have 315 on 11.5 and the tyre is dead flush with the wheel edges, a 335 will sit out a touch from a 12" wheel (depending on the tyre brand).
