  1. Cheers guys Discs are the Alcon Extreme, crescent grooved and they're some sort of cast iron. They're an odd colour as they have a general sheen of surface rust from sitting in the garage so long - waiting for me to get the brackets done! Next to the UK fronts:
  2. I've seen a Skyline with them on too, they're more common on the later Evos as they were available as an aftermarket thing. Not seen a Supra with them yet though Thanks mate, I'm pretty much there now with how I want it to be. I'm conscious that I don't want to go too mad with the mods as it's still a road car and needs to behave like one. The brake conversion has been on the cards for ages but it was just a lack of time slowing things up getting the brackets made really. I reckon that once these are on the major work is finished - all I'll do then is fit my Greddy intake, fit the seats, remove the spats and then I'll be done.
  3. Cheers Simon. I got a test fit done today (front and rear) and all seems to be fine with the fitment so the brackets are off again being painted. Here's a six pot front on the 365mm disc
  4. T67DBB, 6speed, cast manifold, stock cams, stock head, stock bottom end. 1.7bar
  5. Haha, they're not actually gold plated or anything mate - it must have been the camera/light in the garage.
  6. Job for the weekend.... My brake caliper brackets are done now so I'll be fitting the big Alcon calipers and discs over the weekend I'll get some better pics but here are the finished brackets - I love to see nicely machined components

  8. I think I might have one but would need to check. I definitely have a Mines ecu for a pre vvti manual, is that of any interest to you?
  9. You'll struggle to fit that on a 9" with 35 offset. I'd go 245/40/18 or 255/35/18.
  10. Here's the freshly coated 0.81 housing - I can fit this one instead of the 0.68 if someone wants that option.
  11. Price dropped to £650. Cheers Dan
  12. Are you after an exhaust housing and the anti surge intake?
  13. Apparently I used to know more than I do now.....but at least the advice was the same: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?94368-Fuel-injector-adaptor&p=1192164&viewfull=1#post1192164
  14. Interesting Is there a downside to fitting this at all? What will you do mate, buy another?
  15. Good thread If anyone wants spring rates checked with a full deflection vs load curve then I can do it no problem' just give me a shout.
  16. Thanks Chris. Nice to see it got got someone's attention I'm not sure the manufacturer; I bought about five different cast manifolds to check out the internal porting and flow volumes. This one has the best transition area to the turbo and wastegate with the most room for further porting so I kept this one and Ebay'd the rest last year. I'm moving house now so selling all my spares to make life easier. I will get a whole loads more photos on Monday. Edit: It is definitely not a Treadstone.
  17. I'll definitely take an ally set John, I just need to decide what length. Are you going to wait for a few orders and do a small batch? I didn't get round to fitting the others I had off you at SRR as I have sold the seat It didn't look like it was going to work with my interior so I'm on the lookout for something slightly different now and will need new brackets.
  18. You can run either Scott as you say. Theory says the divided will spool faster but I've not seen an identical back to back test prove that yet, there have always been other changes that muddy the waters. If you really want fast spool then you need to step away from the tubular manifold. However if youwant 700hp+ with "as good as you're gonna get" in terms of spool with the stock rev limit then you should probably go for an undivided manifold with a quick spool valve from SP and a divided turbo housing. Next best after that would be one of Mr Whiffins fully divided setups. Precision turbos are not designed from the outset to be used with divided housings. Apparently the design of their turbines (in general) is relatively insensitive to divided vs undivided. A BW turbo on the otherhand will generally perform better with divided - or as it was put to me.....perform worse with an undivided housing compared to divided. There were a few threads on SF discussing this in detail but I can't find a link now. I bought two housings for my turbo with a view to experimenting to find which one worked best. IMO, doing it any other way is a bit off the ideal as no two setups are truly identical so you're always going off the back of someone else's opinion and similar(?) setup. To give that some context - My 0.81 undivided housing on the T67 (allegedly relatively slow spooling) spools faster than anything else I have seen at SRR except for Wez's little PHR61mm tubby. The wall of torque I get is phenomenal.... 590lb.ft @ approx 4600rpm (with over 500lb.ft from 4200-6200rpm) is not to be sniffed at. Most 67mm tubbys are down on that. I'm not looking for an out and out comparison here but I am saying you really need to pick the whole package to work together or you'll lose out. Cams, headwork, turbo design and A/R all link together and you need to get it right to reap the benefits of each component as a whole. I spent ages pondering mine and bought and sold two sets of cams and two turbos plus a full PHR tubular stage one kit before I ended up with what I have now. Are there any items that are 100% fixed in your spec? You need to nail something down and then start matching the rest of the spec to suit IMO. The 6765 will have to use a ported compressor intake and if you are using stock cams you may still see a little surge if you go for a 0.81 exhaust housing. If you are using (pretty much) any aftermarket cams then the 0.81 should be fine as it won't shift enough air low down to run into surge issues. The 6765 seems to spool fast anyway so I wouldn't get too hung up over slow spooling...but that depends how you drive too. There seems to be an even split on SF of people running the 0.81 and 0.96 - both undivided. Hope this helps mate, sorry if I added more questions than answers!
