  1. To all traders... Could you please tell us what sort of warranty/guarantee is given with the parts that you sell? I am sure that just about everybody in here would be interested in this sort of information. It's not something I have ever seen discussed as far as I can remember. With the increase in traders on here now I thought something like this might be a good idea.. Do you all offer a no quibble (14 day for example) refund on any parts as long as they are not damaged and still have original packaging? I assume postage costs would be down to cutomer? How about actual warranties on the majority of the items you sell? Electronics (Fuelling, BC's,Traction Control etc), BOV's, Suspension kits, fuel pumps, injectors, suspension components etc etc For example, what if... Suspension kits with solid top mounts start knocking after a couple of months on the car? Set mileage or time for warranty? How about chromed parts that rust through? Suspension springs that sag over a short time? Walbro fuel pumps? Warranty on pump itself? Also what if one does give up and a lean incident melts a piston? - Buyer beware?? Exhaust manifolds cracking on single turbo kits? Same for down pipes and midpipes? I realise some of you will mention installation and the effect this may have, I'm asking about genuine problems with parts, unrelated to the installation. Many thanks, look forward to seeing what sort of info comes up. Dan
  2. Cheers guys, Thanks for the replies. No worries for me with the MOT stuff, taht will not be a problem. I may try to put some sort of FOG lettering on the switch but I doubt it. I certainly won't go trying to rub the white off or it could all end up looking rather nasty. Active spoiler switch is probably a no no as I need two simple on/off switches really...heated seats being ideal. Anyone got one and some connectors?
  3. Thanks Matt, in that case... Has anyone got any heated seat switches going spare? Not sure if there's any sort of plastic mount/cradle behind the dash to support them but if there is that would be handy too. The connectors cut from the loom would make things nice and easy as well. I'm in Gloucestershire Liam....
  4. Velocity is the one thing you need to make that easy Eyefi, I guess you don't know what that is though. Let me know what you're trying to calculate and I'll do my best to help you out. As with all engineering, there will be a number of assumptons that need to be made!
  5. I'm after something that looks standard. Do the heated seat switches light up? If so I could fit that pair of switches and use one for foglight, and one for something else I have in mind. How many pins on those switches, any ideas?
  6. Hi Guys, Can anyone help me out here.... I am after a switch that is suitable to use for my rear foglights. At the moment I have a rather nasty typical SVA type rocker switch in the row of three down by the gear lever. I have my snow and trc switch assembly and also the active spoiler off and auto switch assembly. The left switch area is where my current rocker switch for the fogs is. What switch would normally go here on either Jap/UK/Facelift cars? Any chance of some photos? If you have had your dash apart or looked at ANY of the switches in this area (incl. TRC, heated seats etc) could you please tell me how many pins the switches have on the back. Any pics of front or back of ANY switches from that area are greatly appreciated. Also if you have any spare, let me know. Cheers Dan
  7. Hi CJ, Is there any chance you could pm me the explanation regarding the "tuning effort" made by this company. As I am currently embarking on the EManage route this could prove very helpful. I hope it all gets sorted mate, feel a bit bad for you as you've had a fair few problems lately. Just look forward to the summer when she'll be running sweetly and you'lll be bombing round in the sunshine beaming an orange glow to all!
  8. Hi everyone, I am looking for any pictures of Supras with the C4, CR or CX alloys on, ideally in 18" fitment. I was hoping to get hold of some 18x9 and 18x10.5 C5's but found out that they're not made any more and max width in an 18" rim is 10! So could do with some pics to try to make some decisions. Much appreciated. Cheers Dan p.s. Does anyone know the correct offset for front and rears in 9" and 10" respectively?
  9. Didn't you guys have some software for the EManage that could log actual ignition timing values?
  10. Aha, I knew there must've been some correction in there somewhere. The stock ecu can obviously trim a certain amount, but no way trim back 550's or 650's to a stoich idle. I think we were talking cross purposes a bit there mate.
  11. On a Jap spec with stock ecu and no piggy backs?
  12. The stock ecu cannot adjust enough in closed loop to compensate for the overfuelling produced by 550's (replacing 440's) at idle. If I remeber correctly, Ian C should be able to comment on that!
  13. You must have some serious ££ floating around Arnout. Some very good projects coming from your direction, keep it up and best of luck. What material is the crank? EN40B, forged?
  14. I'll check dates and let you kno. Probably + 1.
  15. How much were these to get done, I have the exact same seats..... (would want same colour to match car as well really)
  16. I'm not envious at all mate Keep slogging away, you'll get there. Wiring everywhere I guess. Did you take some pics?
  17. Fair enough, Never ran a higher pressure after market one instead? Damn unlucky for ya if that is the case, what a sh!tty job that is though!
  18. Liam, Are you running a stock rad cap?
  19. I'll do my best to come and say hi to you all. Don't be alarmed if someone called dan just randomly introduces himself to you and asks who you are. - It'll be me!!! My Supe will be in the car park with all the rest of the public. If you see me, be sure to say hi. Gunmetal supe, gold wheels, trd spoiler and bonnet.
  20. Can I just turn up and pay on the gate if I have no ticket? I know it's too late to get my beast in our club area but I'd like to come along and say hi... Any ideas on £££ and time the place opens? Cheers Dan
  21. Thanks for the reply Darren, much appreciated. I've done one before for a turbocharged Yamaha bike engine, with a one off sump machined to suit which also served as a suspension mounting point too. (Engine in a car btw) Very expensive piece of kit to have CNC'd!! Dual outlets to a 2 stage pump, and on to the ally tank and then a feed back to the internal oil pump. Turbocharger drain was also plumbed in so it made up quite a trick little system. No baffle/scraper though, it was designed but basically didn't make it due to time constraints! Basically my brother is now doing the same (different engine and installation details) and I'm trying to help find some information for him to back up my stuff. Pump sizing, flowrates, any specific design requirements etc etc so any good technical info is what I'm after. If you happen to come by anything you think could be of use, please let me know (if you don't mind) Cheers Dan
  22. Does anybody on here consider themselves knowledgeable in this area or know anybody who is?
  23. Taking the cat off would tell you straight away, unfortunately it's not one of the easiest and most pleasant jobs to do.
