  1. I want to see photos of the build. I couldn't give two tosses about the turbo argument.
  2. Is the Walbro brand new with fitting kit and is it a 341 or 342?
  3. If you're trying to bend it enough to "hook over something" then it sounds like you're asking too much.
  4. So that's pretty much a yes then - cool. Your description sounds pretty much identical to my last job. I never knew the Ford or GM engineers didn't follow things all the way from conception to manufacture - handling the design only up until the drawings are released is a crap way of doing things, I couldn't believe any real companies work that way. My experience has always been from initial conception, testing, development, all the way through all the necessaries right up to production.. and then some too if needed... Anyway, got a bit of reading to do...
  5. I can definitely tell you if they can be re-used from a stress point of view and whether they're stretch bolts as long as someone can give me a few pointers on the bolt itself? Do they have any particular markings on them? Anyone know the material? What is the thread size? Can someone post up a pic of one aswell?
  6. Good choice in fuel rail too - same as me!
  7. Do you work on actual engine development?
  8. You guys are hilarious - I love that pic you posted Abs. Thanks to everyone who has offered to help - really appreciate it.
  9. In your case, the rail pressure will be no higher with 3 pumps or 2 unless your regulator is not up to the job. Any idea what flow the regulator you are running is good for?
  10. Glad you're ok Chris - and the workshop survived!
  11. Are you referring to any rails in particular John?
  12. Guys, If you consider yourself to be one of the above and don't mind a few questions picking your brain over some food/weight training things then let me know... Cheers Dan
  13. I may be interested in one. I have about £400 to spend. Can you get hold of replacement/extra batteries and/or docking station for the M2 or M3?
  14. Sounds like a neat mod, please keep us posted... ps: Did you get the parcel ok Emin?
  15. Thanks Michael, I've been on hols for a week but I'll try this over the weekend and let you know.
  16. Sorry Steve - yes please. Been on hols for a week, will pm you tomorrow
  17. On a dyno or RR you will not get a fair test of the side mounts. The low pressure region created by the spinning front wheel coupled with the huge airflow forced directly through the sidemount ducting will not be present on a RR. The larger surface area and heat soak capability of a front mount will sway the RR results in favour of the front mounts in the proposed test conditions.
  18. Alex, do you have any genuine figures for a new Toyota sidemount vs any of the popularly available front mounts?
  19. I'm assuming you can get hold of one way valves and weld in slash cut pipes Charlie (unless you fab them anyway) but Summit Racing sell some parts if needed: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?Ntt=crakcase+evacuation&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115&y=6&x=42 Something for the disbelievers to look at (a pure exh vented setup - no intake vac alternative or catchcan - possibly not the best solution but the exh related hardware is there):
  20. OK, might be a bit too late for you if you're doing stuff now. I'm in the US till friday and then on hols for a week Will let you know though if I dig up anything in the meantime....
  21. Still available and for 6 speed?
  22. Charlie, I may well have some useful info on this at home that may be of some use (although sounds like you're familiar with the idea already). I'll dig it out and if it looks any good I'll let you know. I have used coiled copper pipe in the past to reduce temps enough for flexible connection...
  23. Any thoughts fellas? ps Just found out the girlfriend got pulled over for a police spot check today - emissions, lights etc. Good job it wasn't the Supe as far as emissions were concerned! I never realised this actually happened - thought it was just rumours and scare tactics!
