  1. Nice one, well done Jake. A nice dry day now to see how she pulls would be welcome I bet! Looking forward to seeing the dyno sheet, what sorts of figures did it put down?
  2. I never said the HKS style Nippon Denso injectors will fit. However, I have seen Denso injectors that would physically fit but you are correct - no chance with the HKS ones.
  3. Yep - there are also certain Siemens injectors that will not fit the PHR rails. (I'm guessing PHR can list those size ones as a definite fit).
  4. On my two other cars (not Supras) I run Yoko A032R on one and A048 on the other. No problems with either... Only comments are the road noise from the A032's is a little interesting - not so much noisy but just a "funny" whining kind of noise.
  5. I'll try to find some info on the turbos for you... Fuelling wise the only things I have different are the Mines ecu and a Walbro. Fuelling was still something like 11.5:1 at 1.3bar full load so the Mines ecu is really doing the trick although I don't doubt the injectors are close to being maxed out at those levels.
  6. Just curious about this as I saw the thread about vvti's and wondered how the numbers compared to Facelift 6 speeds that are not vvti. Please post up along with colour.... 1. dandan - Gunmetal 2. SimonB - Gunmetal
  7. Glad all was ok in the end Jake...
  8. Mine are Turbo Technics and I have never had a single problem in 3 years. Exhaust Gas Temperature never goes above 840 degrees even on long uphill, high boost pulls. I run the car daily on 1.1 - 1.15bar and it is quicker than our vvti BPU 6 speed supras running 1.2 bar. Also, as a bit of a sidenote, on the dyno we ran up to 1.3bar (to check fuelling was ok in case of an overboost situation) and the torque was still increasing at 1.3bar. Some people have found that running above 1.2bar yields less power and torque (as the turbos aren't operating efficiently at those levels) but my turbos seem efficient enough at 1.3bar.
  9. I did read the entire thread (if that was aimed at me) I'm about 6 hours off GMT at the moment and didn't pay too much attention to the times of people's posts so didn't notice how recent Greg posted up. 1000 apologies to you all, I am not worthy !!
  10. Lucky escape - glad it was caught in time and not out on the road/track. Did you get it mapped in the end or is that waiting for another day?
  11. Shaf - I think my brother is gonna leave the wheels. Too much uncertainty over the offsetting suiting his lowered car. Good luck with the sale.....
  12. What sort of ballpark figure are you looking for for yours Chris?
  13. No idea - you'd be comparing two different rolling roads then so no-one can say unless they've been on the hub dyno and the different rolling road with identical engine and conditions. You'll get a higher reading at the Thor hub dyno than an "at the wheels" figure from most other places though....
  14. Anyone got any going spare? Looking for complete assemblies - dampers, springs and top mounts. Cheers Dan
  15. Does anyone know a part no. for the Toyota overflow that is a common substitute when fitting a front mount?

    Back to black?

What colour is the engine bay, boot etc? Personally I'd say go black especially if the purple wasn't a complete job.
  17. Lewis I sent you a pm about this a while ago but we never got anywhere ref. the web side of things. Can we kick something off again if I pm you the names of the sites I want to secure? wkdboi2005, I had a look round your site but entering any names was met with a blank page. Any ideas? Cheeers Colsoop - I had a good read over that stuff and it was very useful.
  18. Sorry - posted in error.
  19. Fitday is a great place to track daily food intake and it is free. It will break down your food intake for you and give you total calories eaten etc... very helpful for you all. If you want you can enter lifestyle details and daily exercise and it will give you an idea of calories in vs. calories burnt. You can also log weight everyday, goals etc etc Personally I use it for the food side of things... http://www.fitday.com/
