  1. If you plan to remove the second cat I wouldn't alter the RR yet...
  2. I am doing it myself for definite. Laurel is very nice but would not be the best choice for this particular job. I was just wondering if anyone here was a potential supplier of plants (maybe online/mail order type) rather than a more expensive garden centre. Managed to find 3ft tall plants for £5+vat so pretty happy now anyway. Should be in before next weekend along witha nice new gate!
  3. For the sake of your turbos and your engine internals I would get the RR in asap and get onto a rolling road and get your fuelling checked under max load.
  4. I know you're not DBB Wez - all the more impressive. PHR do market that turbo as a real quick spooler. A comparison to Jake's would be good as he is vvti but has the tubular manifold and shorter fmic piping on turbo side (assuming it hasn't been changed from the PHR kit). Cast manifold is looking good! SimonB with his cast manifold GT35 kit would be another good comparison...
  5. I think Mike still has the same turbo as when the dyno run was done, is that right Mike? Yours certainly has some nice low end pull Wez, especially considering that in comparison Mike has the vvti supposedly in his favour. I guess your cast manifold and PHR turbo can take the praise (assuming the tune in Mike's F-Con is comparable to yours). We need Jake's on SRR in 4th gear now as he has the PHR turbo but on an HKS manifold...
  6. Guys, I am about to buy a load of plants for a hedge at the front of my house - I'm thinking of something like Pyracantha to keep any youths from jumping/leaning any where near it. Anyone here work in this line of business or point me in the direction of a decent supplier? Probably looking for about 11m long hedge and looking to buy (approx 30x) plants that are 800mm tall minimum. Cheers Dan
  7. Just emailed you again Chris with another attachment..

    R.I.P supe

Sorry to hear about it but glad you're ok.
  9. Mine is a J spec so smaller than UK tank.
  10. Anyone know who this girl is?
  11. Yeah I get about 270-310 from £55 worth of fuel. Works out around roughly 24-26mpg. As people have said, this will drop like a stone if you drive like an idiot everywhere...
  12. I'll have it. Do you have a Paypal address?
  13. Any reason why they are no longer assembled?
  14. It depends on lots of things if you want the optimum - your engine cc, piston choice, rod choice, whether the block or head have been skimmed, stock valves and seats, any mods to combustion chambers, cam choice and your desired compression ratio. Who is building the engine for you? Generally you should go with the thinnest that allows you to get your desired compression ratio and avoid any possible interference....
  15. Shit - what a horror story, don't know what else to say...
  16. Wheels not locating on hubs properly?
  17. You will not get the same charge temp reduction effects from waterspray on an intercooler to a correctly specced water injection system. The heat removed is far greater with true WI. To some extent I agree you wouldn't want a motor that was only "safe" when injecting water as well but there's no reason not to map a different boost level that requires WI. For instance you could run 1.0bar daily, 1.2bar bax on road fuel and then the fuelling for 1.4/1.5bar could be mapped in conjunction with the WI playing a part. This would drastically reduce the potential for problems as you'd choose upfront to run 1.5bar knowing your WI tank must be full and ready. Also some of the Aquamist warning systems for flow are pretty good now. I have the fully mappable Aquamist 2s system sat in the garage waiting to be fitted when I get a spare morning... Just my 0.02p
  18. Yeah - looking forward to seeing some curves too...
