    ....

Blimey - very cheap mate! Great buy for someone.
  2. I'm not saying it can't be removed though, I think mine is bypassed
  3. The throttle body in an NA is in quite a cosy spot anyway and the humidity in icy weather will be very low as the cold air can't hold much water...
  4. Get well soon mate, sorry to hear about this.
  5. It's for when you are driving Scott - stops the throttle freezing in an open position
  6. Pair of excellent condition rear speaker enclosures. A great addition if you actually want to get some decent sound out of your rear speakers! £75 collected from GL20 area or plus insured postage if needed (I'll get a quote on postage when I know where I'm sending them).
  7. I'd buy a wood grenade to help splitting http://www.screwfix.com/p/roughneck-wood-grenade-log-splitter/51334?_requestid=441507
  8. Oh ok, I didn't bother splitting the BJs - just took the big bolt out and swung the arm around out of the way to save doing any balljoint work.
  9. What ball joints were you parting to fit these?
  10. A few more photos seen as I had the car out at the start of the week. The brakes are absolutely amazing now they are bedded in - the XP8 compound doesn't need masses of pedal pressure to get sensible braking levels and that combined with the size of the discs and caliper pistons means there is no need, at all, to stamp on the pedal for hard stops. I can easily hold the braking right on the point of the ABS kicking in for long hard high speed stops and that's something I couldn't do with the UK spec setup as they didn't have the feel or repeatability from stop to stop. Haven't managed to get them to fade on the road yet and I don't think there's any chance of doing that. Job done and I am extremely pleased with how they turned out
  11. Turbo sold pending payment. Brand new 0.68 exhaust housing available Anti surge (HP) compressor housing available
  12. Assembly guide here : http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/V3assemble.htm Cheers Dan
  13. I bought this from glensgarage.com a year or so ago and never got around to using it. I have built two of these ECUs in the past (an MSII and a MSI running MSnSExtra) and they have been excellent and are still fitted to the cars today running great. This one comes with the black anodized case If you don't know what these ECUs are, and what their benefits are, then this is not really for you but a bit of reading here should be of use to anyone intersted in cars and engine management as the info is excellent. http://www.msefi.com Anyway, looking at diyautotune.com the Megasquirt II on the V3.0 board is $266 plus delivery etc so I'll take £160 plus postage. I do have a DB37 wiring look somewhere (brand new) and may have a relayboard as well. I will check and post back up. In the meantime PM me if interested. Cheers Dan
  14. I did a lot of reading about these and there was a lot of stuff around about getting them shaved to reduce the likelihood of blistering due to heat cycling requirements or something like that. I never really reached any conclusion but a bit of googling with V70, shaving, and heat cycling might throw up some info.
  15. Ryan's selling all these goodies just as I've gone mad with a new mortgage and house purchase
  16. My Mines equipped BPU car was noticeably quicker than two BPU vvti Supras we have in the family.
  17. I'm thinking of buying a decent woodburner with back boiler and linking it into a sealed oil fired combination boiler system, does anyone have anything similar? Also considering a smaller solar tube array for basic hot water needs in the summer so there's no need to have the furnace roaring in the living room Right now I'm trying to decide how complicated it'll be...all three sources into a thermal store for DHW and CH or just use them for hot water only and keep the oil boiler for heating when the wood burner isn't enough. Does anyone else have anything similar, there are a lot of people out there with various systems and it does seem to be a bit of a project/hobby/obsession thing for some people Cheers Dan
  18. You'll not likely damage the allen key bolts (the hex or thread) before you strip the aluminium body thread.
  19. If you are fitting after market cams then I'd say they're pretty much essential to get them dialled in correctly.
  20. I was posting over there trying to be amicable and find out what their problem was with the fuel and ignition timing. I've never really posted anything about my car there as they can be idiots sometimes.....I generally stay away except nosing for tech discussions really. Nice job yesterday JP, hope you get the clutch sorted. Dude - burn it
  21. Good luck tomorrow mate -hope you get some good runs in. I'll be looking on here for updates so don't be shy
  22. Good price. What do you need the stocker for? Are you not going to use a standalone?
  23. Mine's paid via transfer.
  24. Nice, forced induction coming soon then! What colour is the donor? I'm after some doors and rear spolier
