  1. Thanks Gaz - I am looking and kits right now but have no plans to buy one this summer. Maybe a winter project and I'm just weighing up my options right now. Thanks and keep up the good work.
  2. Looking good, Stage 2+ mmmmmmmmm Gaz - how would you compare the PHR kit to an SP equivalent for completeness and quality. If that's a bit of a political question then don't worry about answering. It is a genuine question as I know nothing of the SP kits but know how good the PHR ones are.
  3. Is there no way with this kit to stop the bulb failure light triggering?
  4. Martin - too much ££ for me my friend plus I already have the analogue controller fitted in my dash anyway. Thanks for posting up. Soop Dogg - Is yours new/used? If used, is it all in perfect working order with everything required for install? Also is it deffo a launch unit?
  5. Nice wheels - good choice.
  6. Martin do you have a triple gauge full length A pillar jobbie? I may have misunderstood your post to SupraHuman...
  7. Personally I wouldn't bother with the pcv valve on anything much above basic bpu. I have my own breather system which I've used on many engines (highly tuned NA as well as forced induction).. however this is the big debate that crops up every 6 months or so and everyone has their own preference.......
  8. If you are suffering with oil vapour issues then it can get into the intake under boost regardless of the pcv. When off boost you can (via the pcv operation) find oil vapours coming into the intake plenum, by the very nature of the pcv. When back on boost this can find its way into the cyliners (or worse still one or two cylinders only). I've had several plenum chambers for modifying and seen witness of oil vapour in there from the pcv.
  9. Good stuff - be sure to post up the finished pics.
  10. Any idea on the materials/seal compression/no. of rotations Digsy? There's a lot to it as you probably know - some of the band aids I've seen like "shorten the spring by X%" can be a little bit gung ho and may not be the real answer. Are you very familiar with the 2JZ setup and are your failed seals a similar design/embodiment to ours?
  11. I already have a fields harness and the small black analogue control box Michel but thanks for posting up.
  12. Good man. Anyone ever seen any crank wear where a failed seal was removed?
  13. As per title, no need to be digital system. Launch control system preferred: RLTC6AL Anyone???
  14. Can anyone pull up some seal photos or photos of the embodiment please? Even if the pressure seems to increase the sealing Chris the resulting loads on the elastomer could be too high and eventually fail the seal through excess friction, temperature, lubrication exclusion etc. I am not 100% familiar with the embodiment though so can't accurately contribute right now. If I see some parts/photos/images/illustations etc I may be able to help - this kind of sealing scenario is relatively simple (although I'm by no means saying it's trivial) compared to some of the sealing designs I have been heavily involved in.
  15. When people say "I have blown my FMS" or "My FMS has gone" what exactly has happened? Do all the FMS failureslook the same - burnt out ID, seal out of position, broken or dislodged spring...does anyone know exactly what the failure is? Does anyone have any "failed" FMS they could photograph please?
  16. How many miles did you put on them Jay. If I remember rightly they're not that old are they? (I'm not buying - more curious about the leak vs mileage...) Good luck with the sale...
  17. I'd be extremely suprised if you noticed ANY difference at all.
  18. Does it need to brand new Jurgen?
  19. Anyone selling these? I need 8x 3" and 6x 2.5" Best price so far is £47 for the lot. Can anyone match or beat that? Cheers Dan
