  1. Editted to update: OK guys, Who's running a single turbo system in a well mapped car who wants to give me a test run? I'm just choosing between a T61, 4088R and a T67DBB and need more real world input I've now been out in Homer's car and I "think" the 67 may be a little too big for my driving style. If anyone is anywhere near Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Oxford, Stroud, Bristol, Chepstow, Ross....then give me a shout. Thanks Dan
  2. That's a bit of bad luck on the turbos mate - hope you can find the smaller housing somewhere.. Do you know what your injector pulsewidths are at idle and how small a pulsewidth the AEM can kick out. With poor injector control (unlikely with the AEM) and sluggish lazy injectors you can end up idling on the opening and closing time so trying to decrease fuelling any more simply will not work. I think you'd need some BIG lazy old injectors for this to be the case though.
  3. Mike what AFR's have you got at full throttle from 2000rpm up until she's making let's say 0.5bar?

    BL61 Turbo

Nice turbo for a road car or serious track day driver. Does this have a bigger turbine wheel than the GT35R Terry?
  5. Guys, I've searched for the pin outs for the EManage Ultimate wiring but had no real luck. Mohd's site being down is a slight PITA, can anyone help me out. I know from my searches the airflow signal is pin 62 and not 66! (Cheers Homer) Also am wondering about the same thing (pinouts on main ecu and abs ecu) for RLTC install. I must admit I haven't searched for these but figured I may as well add that request to this post. Thanks in advance for any help.... Dan
  6. Just sent you an email Chris (related to other stuff as well as fuelling)
  7. Yes raised rev limit too (well all the ones I've seen are...)
  8. It takes care of fuel cut, has more aggresive ignition timing, mapped to (I think 1.1bar), different fuel MAP - generally better performance in my experience. If anyone's planning to stay at BPU and stick on 440cc injectors then this is a good buy
  9. Yes cheers Alex. I have the Y and dual -6 lines for the filter forward, it was more the main feed line and the required fittings to get out of the tank if/when running two pumps that concerned me. I think a single 044 may be the way forward..
  10. OK great. Sounds like a very promising alternative, thanks Chris.
  11. Do you think the stock feed line and the stock filter are large enough to support let's say 550bhp Chris? I envisage a reasonable back pressure from that single stock line but if the 044 can kick out the flow required at that pressure (let's say 40psi rail pressure on top of 21psi of boost plus back pressure plus any back pressure from the return line) So let's call that what 100psi at the pump as a guessed starting point?
  12. OK I'm with you - sounds like a very neat setup. I think if I went dual lines I would want to utilize the OEM line though to save some unessessary expenditure. Although if I go to Pirtek and get non blue/red/Earls/££ then it won't be too bad. Have you got any pics?
  13. Thanks Michel - I may go down that route but I am on a budget - not an "engine blowing, cut corners budget" but a "no luxuries budget". The hanger would be ideal but I'm not sure I can justify it. I can source any Earls fittings and lines, I'm interested in how people get a second line out through the stock hanger I suppose - or are people joing them together in the tank and then splitting them with a Y once they're back out of the tank? In some ways I do like the idea of one #10 fuel line - it would certainly look better as I could contain it all under the stock protector rail. Perhaps I'll go down that route, two pumps joined in the tank, one #10 line to an Earls filter and then split to 2x#6 to either end of my rail.
  14. That would certainly be a help. I can get Earls fitting easy enough - it would be nice to know what people use, especially to get off the pump and out of the tank to the line...
  15. OK guys, I may well be embarking down the T67DBB route in the very near future but am now just pondering over my fuelling setup. I will probably only run 1.3bar maximum on this turbo seen as I'm on a stock bottom end. At present all I have fitted different to stock is a Walbro 342 instead of the JDM pump. I do have the following ready to fit: Dual feed OEM rail 650cc injectors (I may bump these up to 720's - not sure yet). #6 Earls lines and fittings to get a dual feed from the filter to the rail (this was going to be a stop gap to give me plenty fuelling for my BPU+++ as it is at the moment) I am planning to get another pump and instead of doing the dual feed from the one filter I will probably take one #6 line from the OEM filter to one end of the rail and then run a new line (not sure what size) from a second pump to a second filter and up to the other end of the rail. Now I have a few questions, mostly related to necessary fittings needed so all useful input is appreciated: Shall I run a second line (totally separate from existing) from the pump all the way to the filter and then run my #6 up to the rail? If so what fittings do I need to get out of the tank, through the stock hanger, clear the dust cover and onto my fuel line. What size line do people usually go for when it's in addition to existing - #8? Shall I use a stock filter? OK, thanks for reading/input Dan
  16. No I'm still tootling around with the little pea shotters doing their thing on my Gunmetal TT6 (the one you saw). Plans didn't work out before and I ended up keeping my car which is a good thing really...
  17. Rob you've got the single kit I want so don't be jealous now!!
  18. Oh right....please let me know as soon as you know if it's sold to mk47. I can send money whenever you want it....
  19. Hopefully mrboost, do you have a paypal account or do you want a cheque?
  20. If it's all there complete and fully functioning I'll have it.
  21. I would assume that anyone upgrading their valves will (as a minimum) be recutting the seats accordingly..... What's the valve profile (seat area) like compared to stock?
