  1. Do they need to be in working order or are you going to be hydridizing them?
  2. I have a Trial Tuning Spirit exhaust which I took off and swapped for my Nur Spec. It ib basically the same as a Super Dragger. If you're genuinely interested I can send you some pics...but you would have to come to collect it from Gloucestershire...
  3. Buy the full assembly from Toyota - piece of piss job if you do that.
  4. The wastegate could quite easily be stuck open at the equivalent to 0.8-0.9bar of boost (whatever that stroke on the valve is). That will seriously balls up your spool time and yet still keep you limited to that boost. As a risky test you could remove the vac/boost feed to the wastegate completely and see if it still spools slow. If it does then it isn't the BC and also if it limits you to the same 0.8-0.9 bar then you know it's stuck open....be careful though!!
  5. Sorry Ro, I meant going back to the vvti fly by wire throttle and the inbuilt det protection that gives you by automated throttle closing under det conditions....I just re-read my post and it wasn't clear. Anyway, did you get it back on the rollers fully mapped with the new tubby on? I bet you she's flying now.
  6. OK I gotcha. No thoughts of going back to the vvti setup and keeping the drive by wire/knock response?
  7. Hi Ro, I am curious what you do for idel speed stabilization/control with the fly by wire delete and the Q45 throttle body. Have you added an idle bypass valve somewhere? Cheers Dan
  8. This one is a beauty... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=146818 Low mileage. 6 speed. VVTI. BPU. Cracking colour. New UK brakes and Chris Wilson suspension - enough said.
  9. What's the reason for this? Is it a "feature" in the software or is there a sensible reason for it?
  10. Just to make sure we're on the same wavelength - this is not a "pod"...it's the full A pillar replacement piece with 3 integrated "pods"...
  11. Is there any chance of posting a pic or two of exactly what you are selling please?
  12. And what does the rest of that kit consist of.....I may have something you might be interested in if you don't have everything else already. pm me if interested....
  13. I'll take the headlights if the price is right. Please pm me.
  14. Any news on this Paul? Did you get the paypal money and delivery address?
  15. Thanks for the reply - how do you get them out of the white plastic piece?
  16. I am planning to buy the following complete winder mech 69801 14111 and susoect it'll be somewhere close to £80! The first pic shows where the wire snapped (red arrow)..note the one shown is not a broken one. Second pic: Blue arrow shows the white rectangular plastic piece I am talking about. The wire "seems" to pass through here although I suspect it is retainer piece holding opposite of the same piece of wire against a preload spring. (Green arrow shows my broken cable)
  17. OK guys, Winder mechanism cable snapped the other day so i am just taking the mechanism off to replace (presumeably with a new one from MR T). I have the mechanism unbolted and the cable sleeves out and loose with the mech but the cable is still passing through the rectangular white plastic piece joined to the glass. How do you remove the cable from there without breaking anything? Dheers Dan
  18. Nice one Paul - just pm'd you.
  19. 300 is grainy as shit on mine as well - it's the film.
