  1. What do you do if someone rips off your photos like that. Can they be reported in some way?? And what happens if you arrange to go see the car and they obviously do not have it?
  2. OK thanks for the reply and info Steve. Cheers Dan
  3. Is there any damaged to the lip part .... at all? Any slight kerbing or lifting of lacquer os spidering under the lacquer. Similarly - any spidering or lifting of paint (or powdercoat if that's what it is) on the gold parts or os it just the odd chip? Do they need hubcentric rings and/or any bodywork mods to fit? Edit: I assume they clear UK brakes, is that correct?
  4. Please pm me if they are still available - I am v.interested and have cash waiting.
  5. Does anyone have any info to hand on the CAS sensor? Anything out of the manual? I do not have mine at home. Do we know if it is a hall effect device of a pick off coil type? The latter needs rotation to induce a changing current and produce a reading. A hall effect can read teeth statically (if that makes sense). A failing pick off coil could suffer low speed issues.
  6. Thanks for the offer but I would be looking for a useable pair in good condition.
  7. I have some used Tein top mounts somewhere. WOuld they be of any use to you?
  8. An unwrapped housing/manifold will increase the heat drawn out of the gases themselves compared to a wrapped one. The wrap/blanket is not there just to reduce heat lost from the metal......it will (as a result) also reduce heat transferred to the metal from the gases. The amount of heat shed from the gases will (amongst many other things) be affected by exterior insulation - that is a fact. Go check out some heat transfer theory if need be, I think even GCSE level covers it but if not some real basic A level physics will. As Digsy rightly said - the hotter the housing is kept, the less heat will be drawn from the gases with all else being equal. I am not advocating or condemning the wrapping/blanket process...I just want to point out a few misconceptions about heat transfer that have been banded about.

  11. What's the rpm/boost kind of curve for this on a stock motor and cams?
  12. Pushing further in terms of RPM or boost? Big difference.

  14. I am interested in the "OEM front end" but can you elaborate a little on exactly what that is? Is it a complete front bumper assembly with fixing strips, lower lip (not referring to active spoiler),polystyrene filler material, no. plate holder etc etc? Also what colour is it? Cheers Dan
