  1. Damn I'll give you a call in the morning, cheers Chris.
  2. OK fellas, I have some parts for sale as I have decided I am "going black" under the bonnet and my newly acquired blue/red anodizing and shiny bits are not going to suit what I have planned. These are all genuine Earl's fittings and all of them are the more expensive proper swivel seal type which means the hose can be rotated once assembled onto the fitting. If for example you wanted to convert to a dual feed rail then everything you need is here to run from the stock filter to either end of the rail. All you need to do is get the one end of the rail drilled and tapped to M12x1.25 1x 90 degree swivel 1x 45 degree swivel (forged, low profile) 3x straight swivels 2x M12 x 1.25 to 6AN adaptors with Dowty Washers included 1x 6AN male/male/male Tee 1x M12 x 1.25 banjo for use with 6AN hose Approx 8ft of Autoflex #6 stainless braided hose for use with these fittings --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1x 90 degree swivel 1x M12 x 1.25 to 6AN adaptors with Dowty Washer included The last two would be left over spare if you were doing a dual feed fuel rail install so I split the list up to try to make that clear. I'm happy to keep those two items if someone wants to pay slightly less and not bother with those two. This list of items will cost just under £180 from somewhere like Thinkauto and that will not even be for genuine Earl’s parts…they’ll be crappy “Aeroquip style” or “Moquip Style”. These are genuine Earl’s parts, new and unused in all their blue and red anodized glory! If someone wants the fittings on their own for something else then just let me know; I will keep the hose and use it for my “black” install The whole lot: £155 Cheers Dan Edit: The hose is not shown but I can get a pic if someone wants it for a particular reason.
  3. Not read the whole thread but just as a little fyi.....on balance the crude oil coming out of the north sea is costing about $35 per barrel to extract by the time it reaches land. Let's hope the oil price does not drop too low or there could be some serious implications to employment in this area of the world.
  4. OK guys... Tial 44mm wastegate....anyone know what size hose should be suitable for the barbs that come with the kit? I just want to double check but I am thinking 3/16" (or 4.76mm) will be correct? Cheers Dan
  5. Classic - now I see how your brake setup came to be!
  6. Any idea how much Chris? I'd take two if that made any difference? £15 each? Also Chris - realistically how much torque do you think you're uprated clutch assembly will take? I am runnng one in my car at BPU kind of level but will be running a single turbo early in the new year....it's a 67mm turbo and I'd like to think it'll kick out a solid 500lbf.ft. What do you think?
  7. Kyles got a whole bunch of bits headed my way after Christmas (although he's waiting for me to finalize the full list and pay him) and I'm about to worry him even more by asking about a clutch! I'm not sure if there'd be any saving with the weight of a second turbo but I don't really know.... How soon are you planning on getting that turbo? Are you in a desperate rush as I know mine won't be here before the 2nd week of Jan....sound fair Kyle?
  8. Stuart - I am getting a 0.81 A/R turbo from Kyle but have sourced a 0.68 housing as well here in the UK as I want more bottom end grunt. I could sell you the 0.81 housing if you wish and you could use that with the 0.96 turbo from Kyle? Kyle - I hope that isn't treading on your toes at all?...just trying to help.
  9. Steve/Paul - I think you are getting your wires crossed. Paul is talking about the fuel pulsation dampener....Steve is talking about the little damper on the MAP sensor line which "smooths" the raw pressure/vac signal for things like the map sensor, fuel pressure regulator.
  10. You could do well to invest in a piggyback system like the Emanage blue or Ultimate and extract more potential from your existing setup from a decent mapper. If you had money to spend you and are looking to extract every last ounce from the stock turbo based setup you could go with: Duct the front mount intercooler Trac butterfly delete (not sure if this is recommended on autos though) EManage Ultimate HKS DLI 256/264 Cams Water injection You may need bigger injectors from a UK spec (with resistor pack) if you start making decent power at 1.2bar...no big deal if you have an Emanage. I would recommend making sure the suspension is good to the point where you can actually get power down to the road and be confident in the the car behaves on the limit. Depending on what you like (in terms of handling) a decent set of tyres and alignment check/adjust may get you all the roadholding you want.
  11. Prepare people for bad news and then it's all good.
  12. Yeah 2psi difference is great....I'm not so bothered about the actual number but the range is very tight so that's good news for the new year makeover!
  13. Well folks, I just did another compression test on my motor as a precursor to my single conversion seen as I've been driving it around for the last five years in some sort of BPU guise.... 1: 194 psi 2: 195 psi 3: 195 psi 4: 196 psi 5: 195 psi 6: 195 psi I'm very happy. And so it begins....bring on the T67DBB for the new year!! :D :D :D :D Cheers Dan
  14. Thanks Paul but I have been offered one from a friend so am sorted. Now I just need to find the filter sock! Anyone?
  15. Thanks for posting up fellas - I am sorted now. Cheers Dan
  16. I found (as reliable as the internet is) that the entry ID is 1.875" and the exit is 1.75". Chris - odd question - do you have any stainless 3" 2 bolt exhaust flanges?
  17. OK thanks Chris - not really suited to what I am after to be honest. Cheers Dan
  18. Keron - do you have any water neck elbows for a TT?
  19. Will they fit the stock rail and connectors Chris and if so, are they high impedence?
  20. Or when using a custom downpipe without the need for a flange specifically for the Toyota narrowband sensor.
