  1. What should be my boost controller of choice? I really like the gain function of the greddy profec oled...
  2. I've already been for a ride in a uk auto bpu'd and it was like a completely different car. Isn't there a stock auto box cooler fitted? Advice on which cooler to go for and best place to get it?
  3. awesome, so in terms of a fuel pump, new oem or go for a walbro? I'm presuming 255lph is more than enough for bpu? Is the stock pump on uk spec same as j spec?
  4. This is my current thinking, give it a try and see if it's enough. I'm after a 1000cc bike soon so thats in the back of my mind. So if I was to change plugs, install decats, fcd and boost controller would I be in danger of running the engine lean? I fully intent on keeping a smic. Is the fuel pump entirely necessary? Also, if running higher boost on the standard ecu would I provide some det prevention by running 98+ octane? Like wise am I doing any harm running 95 on a standard uk spec car?
  5. I love my supra (uk tt auto) but I feel like the car has got soo much more to give. So i've burried my head online and in some books plotting where to go with my car. But I can only find out soo much until I feel like some more owners opinions would be very helpful to myself and maybe others. I've seen the basic tuning guides online, such as: http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/news/toyota-supratuning/ my question really is one to give me piece of mind. If I went to stage 2 in this guide how much am I reducing my supras life? Am I risking detonation on the stock ecu? Would I be best to go for a standalone ecu before going BPU? It will be awhile before I'd even consider upgrading turbos. I don't just want to throw all these bolt on mods to the car and end up drastically reducing its life. I understand that alot of this will be dependent on what I want from the car so i'm happy to explain that if it helps. This is by no means a specific technical question but i figured this would be the best place to discuss the technicalities. Thanks in advance
  6. I went with my fiancée last year, she too had the grand impression of romance but I wasn't feeling it. Like previously expressed, the stench of urine was common. I just didn't find it to be a very pleasant trip. We did however go to Barcelona more recently and that was so much nicer. The people come across as more welcoming, the streets were cleaned at night (complety unexpected). We flew from Birmingham with Ryan air, if you shop about a bit and jiggle times, you can get the flights at a very reasonable price...maybe somthing to consider... Would be warmer.... And there's a beach! Haha
  7. I may be up in leeds this coming weekend. Depends on a few things this week.
  8. It was this evening, Around about 5.
  9. Item can be collected from, cosford, north devon or leeds as I tend to travel a bit.
  10. Seen driving past wrekin retail park just off the m54 near Telford. Looked super clean
  11. Im massively impressed with how your garage has grown, not to mention what you keep in them! Will you be building any more garages on this plot?
  12. Would potentially be able to pack them up for a courier to pick up.
  13. Yes, to any forum member who would be willing to collect I would take £90 just to clear the space.
  14. I hate the look of the facelift ones... I know it's strange but I'd rather smoke the current orange ones. Somthing about the stock look but with clear indicator lenses looks soo good to me. Is dusky at mvp located out in the states? Or does he do this regularly?
  15. Certainly, and after looking at a few other quotes... You're probably right. They quoted $95.
  16. It would be awesome to be able to do that, especially with these items that really arnt that big. Does any one have any experience with the shipping costs from the US to the UK and could give a rough idea of how much a couple of indicators would cost to send?
  17. EBay listing closed. Sold pending payment and collection.
  18. Thanks Nic, i've sent an email to the European email address, hopefully that turns up something. I've also found a company that receives items for you and charges you a shipping and handling fee to forward it to you elsewhere in the world....but their quote was pretty horrific. this certainly isn't something i'm going to give up on without a fight!
  19. So i've managed to find a set of clear pre-facelift front indicators online! The only problem is..they don't ship to the UK I asked them for a quote to ship it to the UK and they gave me some ridiculous number and also stated that they would require a bank transfer instead of paypal, which I don't feel too comfortable with doing. Here is a link to said item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-1994-1995-1996-TOYOTA-SUPRA-DEPO-CLEAR-FRONT-BUMPER-SIGNAL-LIGHTS-JZA80-/301823225090?fits=Model%3ASupra Made by depo, these clear lens front indicators would replace the stock orange blocks and really give me the look i'm after. Is there anywhere else online that these are sold and shipped to the UK? Would anyone be willing to receive this item for me and ship it to the uk after? (I would obviously be happy to pay the cost of the item and the cost of this shipping first)
  20. Managed to get a limited mileage policy at 21 with Adrian flux for sub 1k (UK tt auto). It seems like the older you get the more mods you can do... But the insurance will stay about the same price
  21. Mine deffintly has three. I'm also thinking high, low and alarm... But I've got an aftermarket alarm. My car is a UK spec... Just in case there's any difference
  22. I mean c'mon, three horns? Why three?
  23. This festive period I thought i'd treat the car to a few bits I'm after: Heater control unit, heated seat control buttons, spoiler control, traction control button, a rear boot brake light, the boot plastic cover, a boot blind Front strut brace and finally A set of clear pre facelift front indicators. I'm after all items to be in a good working condition. Im sure postage or collection could be worked out. Thanks in advance Tom
  24. Thanks for all the help peoples. The car isn't running as well as it could be so I feel a new exhaust and a tune/remap would be ideal. Its a Yb engine from the sierra sapphire Cosworth (sorry ford haters) but it really needs someone who knows what they're doing to have a look. Tim thanks for the offer, I won't be doing anything this winter but I'll deffintly be in touch closer to the time. It's an engine and running gear in a different shell so no off the shelf exhaust will fit. The current one has been crushed by many speed bumps, car has since been raised to a usable height. I may also be after a fuel tank and swirl pot fabricated aswell. While I'm thinking about it.... Would you be able to fabricate a couple of decats with a flexible section included? (unsure if anyone already makes these)
