  1. It's because you didn't pump the brake pedal before moving the car. Please I would advise you to pay someone who knows what there doing in future.
  2. As that airbag is it's completely harmless there's no electricity around to be able to trigger it. What also happens in a lot of modern vehicles is it releases a safety tab so even if you put a feed to it without spreading the tab out again it still wouldn't go off. Even when an airbag is in circuit on the vehicle it's perfectly same as the system is always a constant earth. The only thing that will trigger the live is one of the crash sensors detecting an impact. Airbags are a lot safer than people think if I'm honest.
  3. I ran a 225/40R18 Front & 245/40R18 Rear with 18x9 & 18x10.5 et20 I had to roll the rear arches with coilovers fitted. The fronts rubbed inner liners on full lock only.
  4. Lol fair enough I won't bother anymore.
  5. Just bumping the original post for those that clearly haven't read it. See the part that says "I want something cheap so if anything happens I won't be upset" Anyone read it at all??
  6. I think you lot have lost complete sight of context. If you want something to practice on a track then yeah a Mk1 Yaris for sure. In Japan they have had an entire race series for over a decade now their that good... Ok if you've got 5-10k to spend go get whatever you want from the above but 1k on a Yaris it will never go wrong and be a great bit of fun at the same time. Did no one see the top gear Chernobyl episode? The team having fun in underpowered small cars?
  7. From personal experience having owned most of the cars mentioned. I would steer clear (no pun intended) from Mk2 MR2 200sx Any old BMW Those lot handle like crap and won't give you an enjoyment factor. Mk1 Ph1 Yaris T-Sport Honda Accord Type R EP3 Civic Depending on the condition an older MX5 With the MX5 you really need to judge the condition they are often poorly maintained and suspension components can rot just as bad as the body. Just my 2 pence.
  8. Just want to point out the w means Winter. Rather than "weight"
