  1. I was going to ride super snot down but with the weather I'm not going to bother. I was looking forward to it too have a good day guys. Anyone who wants my ticket is more than welcome to it.
  2. I've got the soarer as a donor car and loads of parts on it the rear subframe looks in much better condition than mine. Just wanting to salvage as many bit's. Heard they are interchangeable and you guys are the best to ask.
  3. Sorry Paul I don't understand? Cheers for the photo?
  4. Either there or the Hotel on the round about (not sure how they will feel about a bunch of hoodlums in supras like).
  5. Is it a direct fit? I'm wanting to redo all the bushes plus refurb on the donor cars sub then just fit to the supra if possible.
  6. Trust me, I've used its heart for a good cause. Its been on the donor list for a long time...
  7. Yeah it defo needs a new filter, oil, belts etc. Just wanna hear it fire them I'm turning it off, ripping it out and giving it every serviceable part changed.
  8. As mentioned swampy there is very good spark just very little fuel. The uprated fuel pump has been ordered. The engine sounds sweet when cranking, my mate who has been helping (mechanic for 20+ years) said he thinks it sounds sweet. I'll put the pump on it on Sunday, I'll check timing plus compression and hopefully we should get some life.
  9. Yeah that could be a possibility, it's been sitting in a breakers yard for a considerable amount of time so anything is possible. We checked over the engine but may have missed something. I won't dismiss any ideas you guys have.
  10. It did have an immobiliser, ripped it out, before hand it would cut everything, fuel, electrics, spark... Nothing would work as soon as you turned the key. After ripping out everything fired unto life just no running
  11. Haha a plastic jumper? Now that IS funny. I thought it should come out at a good psi. When we used the jumper technique (seen elsewhere) I checked the pump on the tank in the boot and there was no whirr, no vibration or sound. My buddy said they can be quiet but not this quiet.
  12. Sorry if my analogie offended you in any way. It was the feed pipe going to the injector rail (I think it was anyway, was my buddy at that end and me cranking).
  13. The spark was strong but I only checked one plug tbh. The fuel was only trickling out and couldn't really hear the pump. Should it squirt like a mofo while cranking?
  14. Just bought a soarer for my 1jz swap, it was bought as salvage, has spark, has fuel but does not run. Any ideas? We have tried using easy start but not pop, bang or splutter, there is fuel coming out but not loads when cranking... any ideas?
  15. Apart from relocating the power steering reservoir and longer throttle cable what else needs to be done to fit a ffim? What vacuum pipes need to be attached and what can be binned? I've only ever seen 3 pipes to the ffim. What about which throttle bodie should use? Thanks guys if you can shed any light into what needs done or the right direction to look.
  16. And it's a 2jzge auto (converting to manual soon).
  17. Sorry if this is a repeat thread, I've ready many comments regarding this question but most answered by saying "a mate of mine who I knew years ago"... I need some personal based facts if possible please so if you have any personal dealings it would be greatly appreciated. What I am after is to know whether the turbo + manifold and ffim from xspower are any good? I've heard horror stories about the oil lines and other parts of the kit so I'll be sourcing from elsewhere. All I'll be buying is as mentioned. Cheers guys and remember it's takes more time to say "use the search button" than it does to just move along.
  18. It's just pipes, wires, bolts, nuts and blocks of metal innit? If you see what I'm currently building for a living now a supra is lightweight haha
