  1. How much do you want for it? And, does it work? Cheers, Paul
  2. Hi all, I've just been told that my ageing 1993 Jap Import N/A Auto MKIV that I've spent what seems a lifetime restoring needs an A/C compressor. The existing one has seized apparently......right as it was ready to come home to me (after 8 years). Toyota are able to get a remanufactured one from Europe at a cost of £700+, and that doesn't include the clutch. There are also Toyota dealers in the US that have the correct part (checked with local dealer), but to get the compressor, clutch, taxes and postage.....I'm still looking at the £700-800 mark. I've seen this Denso model on eBay (US seller), and it claims to fit my 1993 N/A Auto, but I'd rather know if it in fact does fit before I lash out cash and have it shipped. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/392587275308 Does anyone know if this might fit my car? Has anyone experience of buying these items for theirs? Or, does anyone have a compressor for sale, or even, does anyone know if they can be refurbished here in the UK? I guess they can but I've no idea where to go. Sorry for lots of questions...... Thanks in advance for all your help. Paul
  3. Hi All, The lock on my lower glove box has locked up in the 'locked' position. Making this worse is that the glove box is open and now cannot be closed for love nor money. Does anyone have a lower glove box lock assembly for sale? Or, does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Cheers, Paul
  4. I guess the title says it all. I'm looking for a clock for my pre-facelift Jap Import NA. Anyone got one they fancy selling?
  5. Hi Keron, Do you have any front seats in good order? Cheers, Paul
  6. Hi there, I'm looking for a brake master cylinder for my 1993 Import NA Auto. Does anyone have one they fancy selling? Cheers, Paulie.
  7. Hi, I've a 93 NA Auto Aero and need some leather front seats. Anyone got some for sale?
  8. Thanks bud, I'll check them out.
  9. I live near Bridgend in South Wales and I'm looking to get my old NA Supe up n' running again after a year of being kept outdoors and not taken for a run. Does anyone know of a good garage / mechanic around this area? I also need calipers refurbished, new discs, pads, anyone know a good place to get these things done / bought?
  10. Hi Rob, Yeah, all the dash is off right now. The three cables are covered in a black 'sheath' after about 4" of exposed wire. I'm getting the multi-meter battery today so I should be able to test which one wire is which (hopefully, with the aid of a pal who knows electrics). Thanks for your help fellas, much appreciated.
  11. Just changed the fuse (it had blown) for the dash lighting speedo etc. Now the odo goes out completely when the headlights are on. I didn't have the dimmer plugged in at the time so I turned the car off, plugged in the dimmer and tried to 'brighten' using the dimmer. Still nothing. These cables are unplugged from the fog switch and have insulating tape over each connector to stop them 'shorting' out a fuse again. I think I may have to phone the Supraman or a auto-elec guy tomorrow. Bloody thing!!!
  12. I do, I have no-idea how to use it and I've just realised the battery is dead. Sorry! Do you think I may have caused permanent damage by screwing these wires around?
  13. Hi everyone, I've just done something really stupid. I have a MK4 NA Jap Import 1994. I'm taking the dash out for painting at a local body shop. Now, before I owned the car someone had taken it to an automotive electrical guy and got a fog light conversion, where a switch is on the console (beneath the stereo). Only my outer brake lights ever work as brake lights (the inside ones are used as fogs only). I took out the dash and the 3 wires with spade connections going to the back of the switch came away really easy (without me noticing). I've tried to put them back in but no matter how many combinations of fitting these wires I try I can't get it to work properly. The wire colours are light pink, red and brown. Sometimes the light on the front of the switch works other times it doesn't and the fogs work?? Either way it's annoying the hell out of me. I'd love to get back to where you flip the switch, the light on the switch illuminates and the fogs work. RATS!!! Also now seems like the dimming thingy for the odometer doesn't dim when the lights are turned on. I'll have to wait till tonight but I'm betting that the dash lights aren't working either!! I'm an idiot. Anyone got any ideas out there? Don't fancy taking this to an auto electrician and getting fleeced. The back of the switch has 4 spade type connector thingys there if that's any help. Take it easy guys. Paulie.
  14. Now that silver dash looks real good!!
  15. Cheers, I'd love to see some pics of a painted dash! Paulie.
  16. Thanks guys for all your help. I didn't think about getting it painted. I may try to get it all painted silver, try to source some white dials and get brushed aluminium surrounds for the clocks, that may look good. I think the surrounds can be sourced from whiffbitz, but have no idea where to get the dials from, especially as mine is an auto and has the gear indicator lights there. Anyhoo, I'm glad to have found this site and other like minded people. Cheers, Paulie.
  17. Thought I would put two subjects on at a time here. 1. Is there anyone out there making carbon fibre/brushed aluminium dashboards for the sup? The crappy rubber coating is flaking off mine all over the place and it looks awful and thought a new dash would be just the ticket. 2. Mine also has a crappy looking analogue clock on the dash, I would much rather one of those wonderful digital style ones I have seen on other supra dashes. Is my analogue type clock original kit, or is a digital clock an original piece of kit? Either way I would hate to think that my car has been messed about with too much before I bought it. P.S I would like to recommend the following people for their technical expertise and thankless help:- Alan Turner (The Supraman) has proved invaluable with all supra related problems, and Pete Betts for advice when some potential cowboy messed around with my odo. Cheers to you both. I hope to give you both some paid work very soon!!
