I'm very near, in Ogmore by Sea. Anyone still in the area? I've just realised this is a really old thread.

Did Johnny do your LED rears? He did my HVAC and instrument panel. A great job on everything. Although my rev counter does a little 'bounce' when it's going up the revs. Odd but nothing that's making me want him to look at it again. Throw up a pic of your rear lights so we can have a look.

That's fantastic, thank you for the removal instructions. If I can't get the boot plastic I might try to see if I can repair it somehow. Any sort of fix is going to be better than the rattling mess that it's currently in. Cheers, Paul

Hey all, Just to let you know that after trying (and failing terribly) to install the kit from Johnny at LedWorx, I sent the HVAC unit to him and he fitted it in super quick time and returned it to me right away. The result is nothing short of astounding. The unit looked great, even better once I'd replaced the buttons for new items. I can recommend Johnny at LedWorx. I'm tempted to have him do my instrument cluster now but I'm a bit nervous about sending something via mail that is no longer available and is worth a small fortune if trying to replace. Anyhow,, there's my review of his service. Cheers, Paul

Hi all, Many years ago, the owner prior to me had a stereo with 6 disc auto changer installed.......wow, I feel like I'm describing a gramophone. Anyhow, the auto-changer was bolted to the boot liner central panel (the one on the inside between the rear lights). It seems that during this install just about every single connecting point for the panel to the body was broken which has resulted in that panel rattling about way more than it should. Does anyone have one of these panels for an Aero-Roof Supra that they want to sell? Or, does anyone know the part number? I'm trying to find the part number but I'm having little luck, possibly because my searching skills aren't up to snuff, or maybe because my terminology for the part isn't the official terminology. Lastly, does anyone know how to remove it? It would be pretty easy if it wasn't for the roof holding thingies being in the way. Thanks as always for any help you guys can provide. Paul

Hi Rider, Thanks for that. Very comprehensive indeed. Having little knowledge of how to do much of that I think the Supra may have to take another trip to Mr Whiffin. I'm hoping that the compressor isn’t about to seize, this will be the second new compressor to seize so I’m thinking there could be an underlying issue that needs addressing. Cheers, Paul

Hi All, I'm wondering if anyone knows why the AC indicator light might have started blinking? I've recently replaced the HVAC control unit for a spare while my original is having an LED upgrade. I didn't realise that the AC indicator light was blinking earlier because it was an unusually sunny and dry day here in Wales. But when I just went out in the car, I noticed it was blinking. I'm just wondering if this is a possible issue with the HVAC unit, or could it be something else. If it's the HVAC unit, I'll just wait for mine to come back from being LED'd. If it's something else, it may well be another trip over to Mr Whiffin. Cheers, Paul

Great stuff. On instagram I'm 'agingsk8r' Cheers, Paul

That would be brilliant, thank you. I'd love to buy the boards (and some instructions). I've sent a message on Instagram and Facebook to Gareth Hetherington and I've had no response so I guess he may not be doing that sort of thing these days.
-
Thank you. I'm not one for Facebook but I'll have a look and see if I can find him. Knowing my luck there'll be a hundred Gareth Hetheringtons on there :-). Cheers, Paul

Hey guys, I'm looking to get my HVAC and clocks updated with LED bulbs. I've tried replacing some bulbs myself with limited success. So I figured that going professional was the way to go. I've seen a chap called 'Stu' in the US doing some really amazing work but I'm a tad nervous about posting these things to the US given how hard it is to find replacements if they go missing in the mail. https://97supraturbo.com/2018/03/22/new-led-conversion-for-speedometer-cluster/ Are there any folk in the UK that do such things? I've seen a company called Hetherington Performance on Instagram and YouTube and their work look ace. Sadly though, I've sent a message and received nothing back so I'm unsure if they still do this sort of work. https://www.instagram.com/hetheringtonperformance/ If anyone knows a company that do this sort of thing, or if anybody has heard of kits / instructions, do let me know. Have a great weekend everyone, Paul

Hey Herb, Would you be able to DM me some pics of it please? Preferably pics from all angles. I want to be sure that it's the right one before buying. I've already bought two that aren't quite right. Cheers, Paul -
Hi there, Does anyone have a Throttle Body Assembly for my 1994 Naturally Aspirated, Auto Supra? As with most things, I'm having the devil's own job trying to source one. The original part number is 22210-46091 from what I can make out. Cheers, Paul

Hi All, If anyone is looking for a condenser, you may have some luck from Elmhurst Toyota in Illinois. I’d ordered from them around 2 weeks ago. After I’d ordered they’d told me that the parts were on back-order and they didn’t know when they’d get the part. I decided to keep the order active and I’ve just been told that my condenser has been shipped. Hussar!!
-
Thanks Rider, Wow, I think I understand the position with these condensers a lot clearer now. I may well keep the order in with Elmhurst and just hope that they get one in stock at some point. I've also a notification set up with Rock Auto just in case they get some in. £750 in 1997.......ouch!
-
That's really good to hear, thank you. I've just emailed them asking if they've had any stock come in recent months, if they actually do get stock come in on occasion, I might just hold on for a while.
-
Yup, that's them. They asked me if I wanted to cancel the order. I confirmed that I did this morning and I've heard nothing since I'm considering reversing the credit card charge.
-
I just tried a dealer in Illinois, they took the funds but then told me that they were on back-order. I've had this happen three times so far. They say they have them in stock, so I place an order, only to then get an email later on saying that they don't have any. It may be a peculiar US thing to advertise products that aren't actually on the shelves.
-
Hi all, Does anyone have an A/C condenser for sale? I've tried buying a few over the last few months, mostly from Toyota dealers / parts places in the US. They all have them in stock until I part with my cash and they then email to say they are on back-order (they don't know when they'll get them). Anyone got one they can part with? Cheers, Paul
-
That's superb, thanks Rider. I bought what I thought were LED replacements to them but they don't seem to fit. T4.2 was the size I thought would do the job. Does T4.2 sound right to you?
-
Hi Rider, As always, thanks for passing that over. I'm guessing it's just the twist out bulbs that I need to replace for the button illumination. The soldered on bulbs appear to be the ones that illuminate which button is selected (the small green indicator lights). Luckily, those indicator lights seem to be working fine. Thanks again, Paul
